Is there a link? I met somebody that suggested bad handwriting was the development of a serious mental illness. I don't feel this is the case with me as i've had it all my life, no matter how i tried in school, my writing was terrible unless i took a long time and then failed to complete my work :P....

From the article: "You could, of course, say that intelligence, properly understood, is a combination of wisdom, good judgment, logical dexterity and factual knowledge, and by definition you can't have too much of that. I'd like to agree, but I fear it is already too late to reclaim the word "intel...

I have an old friend with schizophrenia and his issues don't even vaguely resemble mine. Schizophrenia is diagnostically almost the polar opposite of autism. I'm sure of once reading that Autistic people have a natural protection against schizophrenia meaning they are statisticly least likely to ge...

Is Susan Boyle treated badly by British tabloids or something? Maybe I don't pay attention but I don't think that's how she's thought of here. She an amazing singer and proof that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. I've never heard her perform but she does seem to get ridiculed and sniggered ...

there are"blowers" and "suckers" in the world of entertainment, people that "blow" chart new ground, and people who "suck" recreate old ground. what is it to be? there is validity in both poles. It's a two way split between sucking through her mouth and blowing out of her arse. Nobody can decide wh...

Don't worry guys I can see a way out of this for us. What is her diagnosis? could it be that many of her behaviour traits are caused by another more dominent disorder, rendering Asperger's less influential and less important. For instance if somebody has a broken finger nail(Aspergers) and a broken ...

I've done some trolling in the past and I honestly find it exhausting because you have to put on an act and keep it going. I don't know how people can do it for hour and days and years and never be themselves. I have felt attempted to troll after I had my child just to have fun and mess around and ...

After waiting a year to be seen, I was diagnosed with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder last Friday, following a day of assessment. My diagnosis was done on the NHS. No mention was made of Asperger's Syndrome, they only mentioned "Mild", "Moderate" and "Severe" categories. It was suggested that I would...

I'm reluctant ascribing individuals an IQ score. Does it truly measure the brains potential? Or does it merely tell you how good you are at doing IQ tests. One area that Aspergoids do perform well, usually in excess of a NT is ........Wide Associative Thinking. I personally scored very high in this ...

I was on Celexa (name brand of Citalopram here in the States) about eight years ago. I didn't really notice much difference in me. Of course, it seems like I've been on half of the major anti-depressants since I was seventeen. I felt like only a few of them worked, and only for a short time. I'm on...
