So, recently I was talking to a friend of mine who is into the whole "the secret"/"law of attraction"/"new age" stuff. I was talking to her about slavery and racism and white "supremacy". Telling her things most people don't know about because they don't care ...

That's pretty hard to deal with. What sort of physical reactions do you have, if you don't mind me asking? If I eat my stomach will hurt and I will get a weird feeling in my solar plexus. When I get nervous I have auditory processing issues. Tingling feet. Shakey/tingling hands. Back pain. Feeling ...

I can relate to what you posted. Even though I'm not old enough to go to a party yet, every time somebody invites me to do something I always say 'maybe' and later decline because the thought of going is just so overwhelming. I like being around people, but for some reason I despise seeing them in ...

When I used to go out to parties I always found I'd stick close to anyone I knew and kind of butt-in occasionally on their conversation, or very rarely, I might find someone I could talk to. I do that too. Then I start getting anxious wondering if people are noticing. ..if there's one thing I've le...

My friend asked me if I wanted to go to a certain block party in our city tonight. It's in the artistic/outcast community where I live (which is what I am). I am an artist aswell as an outcast. I enjoy that neighborhood. But I can't bring myself to go to the blockparty yet. It's just...too many peop...

Your mother sounds like the sort of woman who would quickly change her tune if you became way more successful than her. There was a point in time where I was getting out of the house a lot cause of schooling and jobs and actually being social at one point in my life. My parents came to me and said ...

Also, I know it's probably really frustrating talking to these people but like, communication is key with it all. If you're struggling getting out what you wanna say across properly then resort to handwritten communication or text/email. It often seems to be quite a useful tool when it comes to par...

Last week my brother was talking about someone at his work not being able to do something right. He said in an insulting/sarcastic way, "What? Do you have a learning disability or something?" Pretending he was talking to the person from his work. I was just thinking, wow you are so ignoran...

Don't feel like you have to stay in contact with them if you don't want to btw, plenty of people disown their parents because they're horrible. I've thought about this. It's so hard. I'm always second guessing myself. Like, is this toxic? Am I paranoid? Am I the toxic one? Why can't I just be mysel...

Anytime I've brought up things they've said to me in the past they've denied it. Recently my mom told me (after she had been drinking) that she wished she had never told me my bedroom was depressing in high school and that I was a freak. She came in (after I thought they were in bed) and saw that I ...

My dad and I aren't that close. I talk to my mom more than my dad cause he's always at work or doing one of his hobbies. That's how it's always been. When I was a teenager and started staying in my room all the time my dad would say things about how it was wrong that I stayed in my room all the time...

Donald Trump's evil is more obvious than Hillary Clinton's. Therefore, it is a waste of time to expose him. It should be common sense not to vote for Donald Trump. Hillary Clinton is better at acting like the "good guy", therefore you need to expose her otherwise, she'll just keep wearing ...
