Thanks Sweetleaf for a lovely thread and important reminder. We all have to stand up for the rights and freedoms of the oppressed in whatever way we can.

If you’re not feeding him but he looks healthy then somebody must be taking care of him.
If he lived outside all the time and didn’t have a home I highly doubt he would have a healthy appearance.
Some cat owners allow their pets to roam freely.

I do feel sad that Pride displays inspire such hatred in some groups of people. Can they just not buy items they don't want and let others enjoy their purchases? We seem to be losing more freedom every day in this country.

You have one life. Live it exactly as you wish as far as you are able.

No need to criticize people who like to drink or have sex or whatever - each to their own.

Sorry for all you’re going through! Just incomprehensible. I hope your friend’s mom is ok, so much can happen. If she does succumb to an infection or something as a result of what he did it would sure be a devastating situation for everyone. You did the right thing. I am impressed by your courage in...

I’m wondering what constitutes holding a grudge - it’s a just a mindset of anger?

Seems to me that the would be a useful mechanism for protecting yourself from certain people and future people who were similar.

I’m not angry but I don’t forget :)

He enjoys doing the fun activities with his friends. It seems he chooses to spend his downtime relaxing and not really doing any actual activities with you. Think this through and accept it as unchangeable if it presents itself that way. If you want someone that enjoys doing said activities or any o...

Many more people are choosing to not have children then ever before. Populations in some places are actually declining. So there are many people who will share your situation.

My son tested positive for covid last week. Western Texas This is the second time he had it and while it wasn’t as dreadful as the first time, he was still quite sick; exhausted, cold symptoms, throat sore, aching, a week later has a mild laryngitis. Covid isn’t finished with us yet and it doesn’t s...

I saw him speed across the floor and was able to use items to trap him and then caught him in a jar with air holes. Be ready!
I transported the little fella to a nature preserve that had a very deep layer of leaves and undergrowth. I hope he found some friends.

And hopefully pass this well thought guidance to his teachers.
Or, find a preschool that caters to his needs.
There may be some local, city, or state sponsored programs or benefits that could help along your journey.

I’ve found this to be very true. I think many authors have written about this reality. I lived in a city apartment and pretty much never had the opportunity to interact with my neighbors. It’s seems that living in higher density environments makes the psychological walls much harder to penetrate. It...

One way for me to interpret what you just said is, any attempt on your part to contact her will trigger her. Which would only make sense if she had some reason to feel threatened by you. Meaning that she doesn't even consider you a friend let alone a boyfriend. I find this hard to believe, TBH this...

Humans as we know them today are 240,000-300,000 years old.

Religion is about 4,000 years old.

Something other than religion UNIFIED those people enough to survive for a hell of a long time.
I’m not worried about a godless future.
