| I agree that he seems to be doing this because this is how he thinks you make friends. At this age it's not really a problem because most of the kids seem to like his company but I've noticed a few that aren't so nice and it breaks my heart to watch. | We don't use time outs because they didn't really work ( I haven't tried them in awhile). He is a pretty easy going kid and doesn't get into too much trouble and listens very well so we have been fortunate for that so far. Besides, I wouldn't want to punish him for not wanting to play with his fathe... |

| I get the feeling that my son thinks it is a stupid game too. I can really only get him to d it when HE wants to and like I said its more of high fives instead of the real hand gestures. | Thanks for all the input! I did have him evaluated by EI when he was 27 months. He qualified for services but not due to his speech delay (since they looked at both receptive and expressive together). He qualified because he was behind on adaptive skills.
