I haven't made any changes to my diet in the recent past, if anything I've started eating less junk recently. Exercise is something I don't usually do, but I will try it out. I've got plenty of work related stresses recently, no changes in diet health or sleep though. Thought processes, yes, I seem ...

Hi, Since the past few weeks, I've been feeling out of sorts. I can't get myself to give a damn about anything. Work is a chore. Life is a chore. I've lost my motivation to do pretty much anything. Nothing extrinsic has changed, AFAIK. But everything seems so meaningless. I can seem to get no pleasu...

I get you. I really do. Honestly. I'm not a social butterfly myself. You say you speak to 20 people. Are they aware of your difficulties socializing? Maybe...who knows...maybe one of these people can help you navigate the social world out there. I don't mean explicitly "asking them," eith...

The "framework" would be putting yourself in situations where you meet people with common interests--like at a lecture or something. Maybe a scientific lecture. Maybe a Star Trek Convention. I'm not sure if you live in an urban or rural area. But if you're in any sort of semi-urban area, ...

In order to gain friends, one has to be "out there." You really can't learn much about making friends through books. You have to be amongst people. You need actual practice amongst people. You can't have a dialogue with a book. Probably the best solution for you is to make friends via the...

Hi. I've been trying to be more social, and I think I've been getting better. I do not want to be asocial, without friends, all that stuff. I also cannot do much trial and error, I do not have an endless supply of people I can embarrass myself around. People always give that advice, to go out more a...

Hi. There are a lot of amazing resources on the internet for just about everything. Want to learn astrophysics? There's great YouTube channels, blogs, and the like. Want to learn programming? There are more resources out there than you can count. Want to learn design? Well, you're covered there too....

What was the update? If it's casual fare, you can probably make a quick pass at a joke ("Around") or just outline something notable that's happened since the two of you stopped communicating regularly ("Got a job working as a..."). If it's something more serious, though, you may...

Someone(class fellow) I used to be kinda friends with, but haven't talked to in ~3 years, just asked me the question in the subject by commenting on an update of mine. I'm perplexed. What does this question mean? How am I supposed to respond to it? By telling them everywhere I've been in the past 3 ...

Aw. I think actually you should listen to music and allow yourself to feel whatever emotions you feel. Then things might be okay? But if you try to ignore it you might feel worse. I'm only guessing though... Well, I tried that earlier, and it made me quite depressed. I've been clinically depressed ...

Im tend to get "flashbacks" when hearing music that reminds me of something.. I would suggest that you could try listening to some new music, new genre, newer tracks.. something that wont triggers these bad feelings.. And after sometime, try listening again and see if you still feel the s...

I have periods of being somewhat friendly(and having friends), to being a complete loner, and about a year ago, I was going through the former phase. I was in a different city at that time. I didn't have this problem before, but now, whenever I am playing music and one of the songs I used to listen ...

Nah, she doesn't mean much to me. However, I do not want to be lonely and miserable, I want some friends. Which is why I'm really confused about what I should do.

By "being mildly active physically", I mean simple things such as cooking, rearranging the bookshelf, cleaning the espresso machine etc, which also require mild mental concentration. When I do these things, sleepiness goes away. Anything more active than that will make you tired and sleep...
