Before I was even pregnant, I wanted two healthy children, born close together. I am truly blessed. I got my wish. My brilliant AS daughter is 15 months older than my creative genius son.

I have a 20 year old daughter who was diagnosed at age 18. She is not broken, she is awesome! ASD is not a processing error, it is a different operating system. Well done on getting a guitar. I'd like to offer a suggestion - for the first couple of weeks, practice for no more than 5 minutes at a time, but do it 4 - 5 times a day if you can. Found this site mentioned on facebook, so decided to have a look, and just joined up today. I am the very proud mother of an Aspie. I am trying to learn as much as possible to support her, and help her achieve all she is capable of.
