Sadly, that's how the world works today. If they can't explain what's going on with you, they assume whatever fits in their mind. You're either a homo or a 'Playah' to them.

Sometimes you just have to work for lower wages, maybe work for a year and get good reviews from that job, then move on to some other jobs with better wages.
