I've been reading some of my old posts here, and man, I used to rag on hip hop a LOT. It's still not my top genre, but there's definitely stuff in it that I like.

I disclose my diagnosis quite freely these days. I feel there's no real point in trying to hide it. I don't tell everyone about it, because there's situations where I don't really need to, but it's not worth lying about for me either. :P

They're politicians just like any other. Sexuality is irrelevant here. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I really, really wish I didn't have an apartment that shared a wall with the back stairwell of my building. My neighbors can be loud as f**k sometimes and it pisses me off.

The great thing about YouTube downloads I find is their compact size - I can download a 90 minute movie in decent quality, and it will be around 250-500 MB, whereas the same film ripped from a dvd in similar quality might be five times that size. I use 4K Downloader and Easy YouTube Video Downloade...

I like to put salt and pepper on my toast. I can't stand the "it's a melt" meme that's so common on Reddit whenever someone dares to post a grilled cheese sandwich that they've added extra stuff to. FFS, if I add bacon to a grilled cheese sandwich, it's still a f*****g grilled cheese sandw...

Autism is being diagnosed more nowadays because we have more knowledge of it, and can better identify it. Medical science is constantly changing and progressing, and it doesn't exist in a vacuum.

Just learned that WP allows you to change the gender on your profile. Just set mine to non-binary. 8)

I also don't particularly like item crafting as a game mechanic; if I'm going to collect lots of crap, I'd rather collect cool new weapons and armor like in Diablo instead of random junk that I have to figure out how to turn into other stuff. It works in Minecraft because the game is about scroungi...

If I want to discuss autism stuff, I usually do it on this Discord server I'm on, or on r/Aspergers on Reddit. More and more people seem to prefer other platforms to a forum. But I like reading and writing in a forum, because you can take enough time for both. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of monolit...

Whenever I come across something I like on YouTube, I'll rip it with JDownloader 2, unless it's it's several GB in size. I've seen so many good videos disappear from YouTube over the last 15 years that I can't trust it to keep them. YouTube and DeviantArt are the main sites I can blame for sparking ...

Herbal supplements can be very hit or miss, which I gather is because they aren't held up to the same quality standards that "real" drugs are. I've taken things that I felt actually did a bit of something, as well as things that just completely felt like snake oil.

I agree that autism can be aggravating, irritating, and demoralizing. But to be "ashamed" of it runs counter to my beliefs. Unless one has done something to be ashamed of, one should not be ashamed of any aspect of themselves. I don't think it's worth being ashamed of either, because it's...

It's a disability that I hate living with, and I'm tired of pretending that it's not. People who tell me that I should be happy to be the way I am piss me off because they don't understand the pain that I go through, and the ones who claim to understand but tell me to be happy anyway are lying throu...
