The same. Almost all my friends are introverts (I'm an introvert too). I think it's because the extrovert ones like to go out and do something all the time, and since I don't want to join them, they find another friend who likes it too. Extrovert-extrovert friendships are more common. About long te...

When I get slightly into a tv-show, I don't know what to do with my life when I run out of episodes. Thank goodness for the invention of the DvD, eh? I'm still watching reruns of TV shows I was obsessed with as a child: Twilight Zone , Dark Shadows and Fireball XL-5 . 8O Watching reruns (can you ca...

Psychology. I am really interested in mental illnesses and how the human mind works. It's a handy interest, I suppose, when it comes to learning how to act in social situations. Although, I think the biggest problem is that it doesn't come naturally. Even if I know what to do or say, it's hard when ...

I often find myself faking interest, not necessarily because I'm not interested, but because I don't show it naturally. I don't know how it looks to others, but it feels really fake. Well, it oughta, I guess, since it doesn't come on it's own.

Money and numbers, I think. I was aware of the value of money at a pretty young age. While other kids were more concerned with the amount of coins, I wasn't quite that easy. There was one time when my brother and I was carrying wood for my grandfather, we got one coin each. It was equivalent to 15 c...

I am not a lucid dreamer. I usually do not know when I am dreaming, and I don't have any say in what happens in my dreams. I have a friend, though, who can lucid dream. She can decide for her self how she wants the dream to go. She has an extraordinary imagination. If the dream doesn't go the way sh...

It's been a while since I changed it. Although I didn't really change it, because I didn't have any avatar before this. Either way, my avatar is a picture I took myself, of a beautiful tricolor cat I met in Turkey.

Collecting consciously, or just in general? When mom and I were going through the stuff in the attic, I forced myself to get rid of a lot of things. It was kind of a breakthrough. I took pictures of some of it, to make it easier to let it go. I had all my notebooks from school, which were many, plas...

So, if you knew that your kid would get AS, you would rather not have kids? I don't know much about the statistic when it comes to heritability associated to AS. I just know it's likely if one person in the family has it, that, that person isn't the only one. However, the statistics wouldn't stop me...

Positive: This manager of recording artists once looked at my combination of skills and said, "You're very intense." I took that as a compliment. Negative: My mother on Christmas Day, after finding a secret love letter I'd written to another guy, said, "If I find out you're gay I'm gonna slit your ...

Positive: I've been told by some of my friends that I'm the one they trust the most. Negative: My mom said there wasn't any return slip on me when they realized how I were. We were fighting, probably about something trivial. I used to end up fighting with my parents a lot in that period. I said some...

I wouldn't think so. He was a master of manipulation and seduction; not exactly the core qualities of autistic people. My guess is he was a psychopath or at the very least a narcissist.

Yes. For example: Husband: It's like $150 Me: Actually, it's $147.50 ....okayyyyy $150 Husband: shakes head..... LOL :D I have a habit of being really accurate with numbers (among everything else, basically). I'd say "150, well, 149,99." Actually I was at a store right before New Years, and the cas...
