I had an uncle with severe germphibia who would shower multiple times a day until his skin bled. It was a terrible situation for him.

The doctor also said ADHD, but Executive Dysfunction looks way more accurate. They put him on Concerta a couple of years ago which honestly seemed to be when he started having most significant problems. If it was ED, that would not help him! Interesting. I am going to have to research that.

The doctor is the one that first said OCD was a component. Is there a lot of overlap with these types of symptoms?
