| If it were socially acceptable for me to live on government assistance and not work, I know damn well that I would, but the problem is, where I live especially, people are expected to work , and as such who and what you are in the world is defined by what you do for a living. | I mean, it would be cool to get paid without doing anything, but at the same time people who are on AiSH typically don't get very much, so they still have to rely on friends and family for support, and it makes it difficult to get a "real" job later on. -2 ssi got denied, going to reapply, f****d if it doesn't get appealed going to become homeless or die wonderful. just going to let it happen too. kind of scared oh well.  |
