Although it is EXTREMLY rare for something bad to happen when sleep walking, my dad is a sleep doctor and he's had patients who have gotten into some near dangerous situations, like walking up in their car about to put their keys in the ignition to start driving. Again, it's really rare for somethin... |

This is just a guess based on what I know about some of the history of autism vs schizophrenia spectrum conditions. There can be overlap in some of the symptoms of autism and schizophrenia and related disorders and the difference between the two has not always been well understood. In fact, autism w... |

I really liked how Mark introduced the event on his YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybPgmjTRvMo I think he did a fairly good job of explaining how autism is: that a person doesn’t necessarily have some savant like talent but their life still has meaning. He also included quotes from ... |

(I’m really sorry if I come off brusque in this post. I’m exhausted but I wanted to give you information from my experiences before I forgot.) I’ve tried tons of different earplugs over the years and by far my favorite are custom molded earplugs. They are expensive but they are reusable and will las... |

I have been on a number of SSRI's over the years for my mix of anxiety, depression, and trauma. I often ended up on very high doses of them because that's what I needed. I did run out of SSRI options a couple years ago after needing to be on such an extremely high dose that then stopped working. So ... |

WARNING: I'm going to be talking about some rare and serious/dangerous tics. If you have Tourette's and know that you are likely to pick up tics from other people or by reading about them, I'd suggest skipping my post. I developed full blown Tourette's more or less suddenly when I was 21. It turned... |

My biggest impairments are my anxiety, sensory issues, and depression. That’s not to say that I’m not also socially impaired, but it doesn’t hold me back as much as the other stuff. |

I don't think your "Evidence, please?" contributes any more than the Fragile X claim, I'm sorry that my statement about Fragile X has caused such an issue and wasn't helpful to this thread. :( The OP asked if anyone had heard of flat feet being connected to autism. All I meant to do was p... |

I have flat feet, but I don't think it's related to autism, at least not in my case. However flat feet can be a symptom of Fragile X Syndrome which also causes autism. So technically there could be a connection between flat feet and autism in a small minority of cases. |
