Staff at my residential program are required to wear double masks when they're in the car with a student. |

Healthy Choice and Lean Cuisine are two brands that I think are in general more healthy than the typical frozen meals. |

As long as you pay , you get a degree.
There are some shady for profit “colleges” that are like this and are really hard to flunk out of, but I don’t feel like these really count. |

Oh My Goodness!! I'm so glad you're safe!! !! !
Now I'm paranoid about the unusually long line of sirens that is currently going past my window
Edit: Never mind. Just discovered that apparently my town fire department tweets when there are fires and there's one just down the street right now. |

I've failed a few college classes because of my anxiety and executive function issues getting in the way of submitting or completing assignments. I've ended up bouncing around to different colleges and I've very nearly given up, but I'm getting close to getting an associates finally. I think that at... |

Brushing my teeth can make me gag too. I often can't use toothpaste because of it. A couple years ago I couldn't brush my teeth at all for a few months because every single time I put a toothbrush into my mouth I would gag to the point I would throw up. But then this got better on its own. |

I've only heard landmark referenced in passing but the attitude is positive. I know someone who was accepted there but I haven't kept in touch since she started. Another option for your son might be to look into programs that support college students or young adults on the spectrum. Some are connect... |

For me it's hard to tell if my sensory issues themselves have changed or just my reaction or coping has changed. During childhood I wasn't aware of my sensory issues and so I would deal with a greater range of sensory experiences in the moment but I was really just bottling it up which resulted in m... |

[...] The DSM IV defined "Asperger's disorder" in a way that was meaningful in childhood, but not so meaningful in adulthood. Once you have fully learned to speak, it doesn't really matter all that much when you learned to speak. This is so true!! ! Like I said in my post earlier, two aut... |

I don’t see a problem if it is “lumped” in with other conditions by people who are bigoted against disability and mental illness. It’s the overall bigotry that’s the problem. I also wouldn’t mind really if someone thought I had schizophrenia or bipolar simply based on the “there’s something differen... |
