Well, it was less of a review and more of them asking for feedback on what they can do to help me (the bosses are well aware of my aspergers and the depression) which was nice really. I realise I'm very, VERY lucky that my workplace and management are trying to help me with my issues, not everyone h...

So now it's Monday...*sigh*

I had so much trouble getting up this morning. It's getting to the stage where I have to get up in stages otherwise I just can't do it. It never used to be like this, I used to love going to work!

Even though I know it's going to be fine and that my bosses are sympathetic to my depression I'm still freaking out silently at my desk - breathless, heart rate up, want to cry, you name it I'm probably feeling it. 35 minutes to go until it's my turn...

He does come across as being a tad on the thick side though, although he is shy so that could b...

Anyone else watching this? I'm SO ticked off that no one is broadcasting the New Zealand/Sri Lanka game (even though I'm an Aussie I'm a HUGE Daniel Vettori fan). Plus I'm a little miffed that Freddie Flintoff isn't commentating.

I'm waiting for her to send me an email that I can forward to my boss, it has the info in it that we discussed at Fridays session - just some general info on what's going on and stratagies that we think might work. So far nothing. So tired at the moment. My tummy is upset and I have a headache and m...

What treatment are you undergoing with the doctor? She says it will probably be counselling and CBT again. Worked last time with my old psych so I guess it will work again. So you're not trying hard enough, eh? That was the first 38 years of my life. I'm bitter about it. CBT, mindfulness, wh...

It helps when you're the only female in the building, you really need to have a sense of humour and be able to let things slide when you're the extreme minority (that being said the guys do try to accomodate me and I let them know if they've gone too far). I lasted a whole hour at work today before ...

My lower back/kidneys hurt, I want to vomit my chest hurts and the only way to get back to the positives is to go home but I feel like I'm letting everyone down if I do.

I fix computers for a living (read: "Have you turned it off and on again?"). Geelong also have their own football team (Geelong Cats) who I tolerate (Go Lions!). My boss is pretty good. I got a scare before Christmas when two of the higher up managers took me out for coffee, I thought my j...

And so far I really like her (except for the Geelong supporting bit...at least it's not port or the cold toast scums I guess). Although she has indicated that I will be in some sort of therapy for the rest of my life (which I feared) which sucks. I don't WANT to be in therapy, I don't WANT to be fee...

I'd need to know the background first, if she just said it out of the blue then she was pretty stupid. However, if there is history of this being an issue then maybe she could have had a good reason for saying it.

Sometimes ultimatums need to be made, and sometimes you need to compromise.

So my favourite players new team was up here for their training camp, so I thought I'd go along (seeing as I'm now a member of both clubs). The plan was: Go to training, get told by player that he's sick of me and he never wants to see me again. Go home, cry to Mum, the moment my new membership gear...

Well, I had a huge breakdown recently at work. Upper management found out about it, and called me out for a coffee (well, hot white chocolate in my case). They were actually really nice about the whole thing and asked what they could do to help me. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of wh...
