I had to have titanium rods put in my spine to correct the scoliosis, and they pretty much hurt all the time. I use a TENS unit, take Hydrocodone and muscle relaxants as needed, use an electric heating pad, take very hot showers, and rest a lot. I had the rods put in at 15, so I've been dealing with...

Thank you everyone for your greetings and commiseration. It is nice not to feel so misunderstood. I am looking forward, whatever diagnosis I get, to be able to garner continued support from this forum.
