Is there just this one episode or is this a whole series? "Catalyst" is a series that generally covers academic research topics that have some impact on society, so autism is just one subject. If the autism episode gets good reviews, they have expressed some interest in doing followup sho...

Rob: I was wondering if you received an apology from the woman who thought you were stalking her? No apology for me. She did give somewhat of an apology to the police. This happened at Leaf Verde RV Resort in Tonopah, Arizona. The manager of the resort decided to let the couple stay and, in a follo...

Hi Folks, Below is a link to a PBS documentary I appear in, "Aging with Autism". It's broadcast as part of the "Catalyst" series. I'm very high-functioning and I'm actually aging better than most neurotypical people, but many autistics have increasing challenges with age. The doc...

From my personal experience, having had a lot of girlfriends, practical application of feminism is very inconsistent. Typically, the want the full options of feminism and chauvinism at the same time, and choose based on which way the wind blows. Depending on their mood, you may be a jerk for not ope...

Delete all of your cookies from your browser before creating a new account. POF places persistent session IDs in cookies. Also, I am of the impression that a paid member of POF has a lot more clout than a free member. So, it may not be an issues with what you did or the way you did it. Generally spe...

The tradition is to only email those you are interested in getting to know. As far as responding to enquiries from others for whom you have no interest, either not responding or a polite "You are cute, but we don't have enough in common" is good. Signing up for the service does not obligate you to c...

She probably was hinting for you to stay with her. But, I've been in the same situation and, on a later occasion, she outright asked me to stay at her place. I'm betting she is really impressed that you drove and she's looking forward to your next date. So, I'd say you handled the situation within t...

Safest bet is to assume nothing.

Effectively, presuming asexuality is presuming nothing in particular, but in a way which does not invite the feminist flamethrower.

When I'm actively involved in a project, I've got a good sense of time. However, since I have a very good memory, things don't fade and provide the sense of distance. I'm 58 and I can remember lots of things from when I was a little kid, including many events during kindergarten and before. Also, if...
