I did better on the social scene when I was younger, too. I wouldn't say it's because I had more skills, but socializing just wasn't nearly as complicated. On top of that, because it was less complicated and I was doing better, I had more confidence about it and thus I socialized more. Fourth or fif...

I'm not psychotic, so I can't entirely understand this, and can't really give advice... Any advice I can give is stuff like "oh yeah, try to ignore it" etc., and I figure that's not only completely unhelpful but also been said to you a billion and one times. Just know I'm rooting for you. I really h...

I think it's an okay movie. I respect it. I do not think it is the work of God or whatever like so many other people seem to. Everyone seems to get super excited about it and think it's amazing sheerly for the part where 'true love' ended up being sisterly love and not romantic love. And yet they do...

I suppose not? I mean objectively speaking I'm a bit on the overweight side, I never bother wearing 'flattering' clothing (I love my baggy t-shirts and jeans), wear glasses, don't do makeup or hair, etc. But honestly I wouldn't want to be 'attractive.' To me that is very much a label and I don't lik...

I'd say type two for myself, although your scale mainly just lists levels of outward social skills. I'm probably a lot more low-functioning on the empathetic level.

We're animals. Many humans think us better than the other species because of 'intelligence,' but the fact is, the way we measure intelligence is based on our own type of intelligence. Who's to say birds don't find us stupid because we're unable to fly without the aid of machine? Or (non-mammalian) s...

For almost my entire life I've considered myself cisgender and straight, and honestly hardly thought of being otherwise. This is no doubt at least partially a result of the society I was raised in considering that the norm. I'm sixteen now, and don't know exactly how I'm classified. At the moment I ...

I'm a relative beginner programmer, but I wanted to find some other people with my interests. (; I am fluent in both HTML and CSS (I might be just a little rusty at the moment because it's been a few months since I did any code writing), however I don't yet have knowledge in other languages. For sta...

I know that saying this doesn't help, but I want you to know that I feel really sorry you've had to deal with all this. There are some people who seem to get everything thrown on them where for so many others their biggest trouble is that they have to go get a job at Burger King so they can buy a su...

I do this exact same thing every second of my life. Things can feel uneven on my skin and I have to do all this weird stuff to fix it. Typing on a computer is hard because all your fingers do different things so I have to jump through hoops to make things feel right. I have to touch things with both...

o: I'd love to get to know you a bit better. We seem to have a lot in common. I draw, play Minecraft, Sims 3, Animal Crossing, I suppose Pokemon but not nearly as religiously as I used to - and I also do random crafts and write stories then never finish them. :'D I also roleplay. I'd really love to ...

I'm not a fan of that sort of mindset. I'm a very blunt, honest person. Now, outright insults are definitely unacceptable, considering those are generally baseless. Some momentary 'hurt feelings' are ten times better than people realizing the alleged faults in themselves later. I know that I persona...

Oh, geez...well I had tons of animal obsessions in my younger years - elephants, horses, and dogs. From third to fourth grade I had a really extreme one over guinea pigs. Luckily my obsessions are usually on the less intense side - or at least, on the shorter side. Every time I got a new video game ...

I don't really know how to introduce an introduction, so just consider this to be that. I'm a 16-year-old girl in the US, and I go by Mel - if you're wondering about 'MelBell,' that's just an old nickname my third grade teacher gave me. I was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome about a year ago, and ...
