I've heard MDMA won't do anything if you've taken SSRIs for a long period of time. Is there any truth to this? I'd hate to try it some day and get nothing out of it. I would recommend avoiding MDMA while on SSRIs. SSRIs and ecstasy both increase serotonin levels, so its possible for you to get sero...

I do not believe for the most that any illegal drug is going to help Autism in a good or safe way. Might have some positive effects but I think most are not suitable for much of anything. I don't think any substance should be illegal but most drugs ended up that way after being used in medical comm...

I haven't really taken it for a long time, so I can't really say what the long term effect could be(personally at least, I have a little bit of an understanding scientifically). My main worry is that it would be easy for it to fill an emotional hole (it isn't physically addictive as a drug, but the ...

Hey, It's been something I've been thinking about a lot recently, but are there any aspies who've taken ecstasy on here/would take it and would talk about how its affected them? I can only really describe the high as a 'good' sensory overload (if that makes sense). You feel in tune with everything a...

Its a fundamental part of who I am and how I define myself, at least internally. Even though it means I'm disabled and makes my life a struggle, I wouldn't change it, even discarding doubts of a magic "cure".

The last aeroplane hijacking in America was 9/11, 13 years ago. From your logic, during the two wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, there should have been plenty. There is no problem whatsoever.

I am sympathetic to anti-authority ideals of anarchist philosophy, but I'm not sure how it would be able to prevent poverty and inequality to the extent a socialist state, or a modern welfare state could.
An answer more nuanced than "it can't" would be much appreciated. |

I'm a A-Level (last year before uni) student and I really loved studying the Differential Equations module. I thought the methods for solving DE's were ingenious and they could be used for so many different situations.

Yes! I actually wrote an essay on my experiences with a game franchise called Mass Effect and how it affects my autism. It's essentially a review of the trilogy with the added personal element of my autism. Its called Camaraderie in Space, you should find it on the Interwebs. It is a tad melodramati...
