I slip into skipping when thinking as well! Skipping around the playground at school got me mocked a lot so I stopped doing it in public but I can't stop the short burst running.

I've never had a full on panic attack but irregular breathing when I get nervous is a problem for me. When I exercise I often hold my breath without even realising it, making the exercise more difficult. I can't seem to regulate my breath as well as most neurotypicals can.
