I love Quora. It's a Q & A site. You can ask a question about anything and get answers from other users fast. Many of those users will be experts.

Or you can just browse things you're interested in.

I don't understand the User Content legal thing. It doubt that you have to worry about it.

1 I'm Male, Autistic, and have no sense of direction In the newest Scientific American , there's an article about how mammals' brains, and that includes humans, can automatically create mental maps which give them a sense of direction. I don't think my brain does that. The article mentioned Alzheime...

No way. Autism $peaks is involved, and the phrase "solve autism" is used at least twice, once in huge letters. This is dubious grammar: would one say "solve cancer" or "solve diabetes"? Why not "understand autism"? And autism isn't necessarily bad. Everyone's ...

It's weird how people are defending her with crap about how race is a social construct, etc., etc. She's a liar. She said that her father is black (he's white). And she's not multiracial, transracial, etc. Her parents are both white, and here's a picture of her before she started dying and curling h...

My experience is similar. I mostly use Windows 7. Initially I disliked it, because of the changes from XP that weren't improvements. But I've discovered some changes that are improvements, and learned how to take advantage of them. I also use Classic Shell (which is free), which makes the Start Menu...

Alex: I never look at dates on posts in forums like this one. It would be a hassle. I bet a lot of others don't either. In another forum, I saw that a thread had been closed to new posts because no one had posted to it in a long time. Since you seem to run things around here, maybe you could make th...

I've started using Google+ a bit to follow my hobbies. It gives me a nice change of pace from pix of people's cats and meals on Facebook. I'm not crazy about the Google corporation either, but they have the best search engine, they run YouTube, and GoogleMaps is great. I've set my account so they do...

This reminds me, I'm transitioning from MS Office to LibreOffice. Every few years, MS updates Office and f***s up its UI (I don't know if its "basic code" has changed much). None of the recent changes are improvements, from my perspective, and some are the opposite. OneDrive might be usefu...

What does it mean to "break" a system?

You can PM me if you think it's a better way to discuss it.

Hello. I'm a linux newb. I found out about Antergos Linux from someone in WP. Antergos is a variant of Arch Linux that is easy to install and adheres to Arch's philosophy of minimalism, simplicity, and user control. I used to have Ubuntu on my laptop, but I didn't care for it, because it seemed bloa...

I love Family Guy . Sure, it's stupid or repetitive sometimes, but often there's a hilarious bit or one of those extended cutaways, and that makes it worthwhile for me. There are a lot of fairly highbrow and/or obscure references to art, literature, classic movies, politics, etc, which I like. Let's...

Is there anyway to eliminate or hide those little pictures of my Friends (I think that has to do with "FB Chat") entirely? I have no interest in using Chat. I use Facebook Purity and I've consulted their FAQ but I found no answer.

I've had a Twitter account for 1-2 years. I'm still not sure what Twitter is good for. FB is better for social networking with one's friends. I've started using Google+, which is good for pursuing hobbies. I've discovered lots of interesting memes and artwork through Pinterest and tumblr. On Twitter...

Tchaikovsky's orchestral suite #2.

His suites are underplayed masterpieces. The only one that's somewhat well-known is #4 ("Mozartiana").

In one part, the #2 has 4 accordians!

I didn't read the original post extremely carefully, but my answer to the question is "no". I had a lot of trouble finding a good job, and I almost lost that job for BS reasons. I wouldn't call those "luxury problems".
