Eyes are burning (should I go to bed? Nah, not yet.. I'll lay there for an hour or more), refreshing the WP home page in case any more spam bots show up, writing a post about relationship between rocking and vestibular, planting garden tomorrow. (No, I don't have ADHD- can juggle multiple issues at ...

I have a disdain for alcohol and drugs due to my parent's giving their lives and my childhood, to those things. However, I don't mind them in moderation (glass of wine with dinner, for example).

Last December, I sent a card to my old mentor and 8th grade science teacher... to update her on how I'm doing.

Do you usually write in print or cursive?

I can move the topic to another forum if it'd be better suited elsewhere. Edit: Actually, I would recommend leaving this specific post alone, but posting a separate post regarding your son, in the parent's section (if you haven't already). It'll be good to get opinions about these topics together, f...

There might be an option of "unofficial diagnosis". You get a specialist to say in his professional opinion you have Aspergers/Autism but no official document is written. That's a great idea! I think I'll look into that. I just need to find out how many visits I'll have to save up money f...

When I was a child, I was not very feminine at all- not quite a tomboy (active in sports etc) either though. It's only within the last few years that I've started wearing "girly" colors and clothes- like floral prints and dresses. On the outside, I am clearly a woman but inside though, I w...

I'm sorry about what you've recently gone through but it's good that you're doing things to become better (meet with a counselor, reintroducing social behaviors like eye-contact). Life is really hard sometimes and it's important that you are taking steps to move on with your life. Meanwhile, welcome...

Oh my gosh yes.. I always speak directly (although I may go into a lot of detail about that particular topic). I never ever use filler and it annoys me to no end when someone does not get directly to the point- but instead waffles and takes a stroll through the neighborhood on their way to the reaso...

Does anyone else have the problem that they can't wear earrings due to the posts being too long and poking them in the back of the ear/head? I've just noticed (within the last few years) that my sensitivity behind my ears is increasing-- so I can only wear earrings during the day since at night, my ...

Secondly there's the skin picking. I shred the skin around my nails, particularly on the thumbs, pretty much constantly. I do it very subconsciously and only notice when I go too deep and there's a sudden sting and bleeding. Most of the time it's just tiny little flakes that get picked off though. ...

OP, we really can't diagnose you here.. It does require a trained professional to make the judgment as to whether or not you have it. However, I still encourage you to read through the topics/ forums here in order to gain more information. And the things you just posted about 'lack of empathy, love ...
