Has anyone read this book or read about it? If so, what do you think? Does it offer a useful and/or insightful theory?

I recommend getting a calendar, and writing down what you want to accomplish on what day and time. You may be surprised at how effective it is.

As far as caring what others think about you, this is instinctive, and can't be simply wished or willed away. What I would do instead is to try and focus on the opinions of you that actually matter, such as those held by your teachers, your football coach, and other such authority figures. You also ...

Yes, I rock. I am the best thing since sliced bread. I love myself, I am lord regent admiral alpha supreme king of my own personal universe, and no one can convince me otherwise. The perceptions of others are irrelevant. I know who I am, and I am awesome. I haven't failed at life. Life has failed to...

I am curious, is it common for people with AS to go into Psychology? I have heard of people with other types of mental health issues going into Psychology in part to better understand their own condition, and also to help others with the same condition. Does this often happen with AS?

Sometimes people will attempt to make a joke, and because it's not funny, I won't laugh. What I find remarkable is that these people will often get agitated as a result. They say things like: "hey I'm trying to tell a joke, help me out here!" or: "You have no sense of humor!" I d...

Do you mean after 30 days, the worries you had when you wrote them down look like nothing to worry about? And is it that in that way you can convince yourself that many of your worries are actually nothing to worry about? Is that how it works?

Exactly.

I did a 30 day challenge called "Every Little Worry." The way it works is for 30 days you keep a journal, and every time you worry about something, you write it down. After 30 days, all I can say is, wow. I highly recommend it, especially for those of you who suffer from intrusive negative thoughts.

What do you guys think about bumper stickers? On one hand, I think it's good that people want to share their ideas with others. On the other hand, I think it may do more harm than good by distracting drivers. The fact that you are diverting some one's attention from driving to reading something is b...

The IQ test was created by eugenicists; i.e., people who believed in the superiority of certain races (pretty much the white race).

I wouldn't take it too seriously.

I got my first grey hair at 22. At 28 I have salt and pepper hair (but still mostly dark). I have a friend who has a patch of grey and he is 26. It can happen at just about any age, for a variety of reasons. My friend smokes. For me I would say it was mostly stress.

A couple suggestions that might help. First, there are some things you have control over, and some things you don't. You obviously have no control over having Aspergers syndrome. However, you're lifestyle directly affects you're quality of life. You're lifestyle can either exasperate or mitigate the...

You say that you volunteer. That's good. Remember, no matter how bad you think you may have it, there is always some one who has it worse. By seeking out those who have it worse and trying to help them, I think you are giving yourself an excellent form of therapy. I know it's worked for me. Sometime...
