Bananas. Also, go get something called chromium picolinate. It's a glucose tolerance factor, helps you use the glucose in your bloodstream more efficiently. That means there will be more left over for after. And at Walmart here, they sell these little sugar tabs for people with hypoglycaemia, they'r...

So I've not been on here as of late... sorry. I completely delved into nanowrimo this year, and came out with an interesting idea. If any of you like the idea of nano, I'd like to propose something new: A year round version! Yea, I know, it's been tried before. But we think we've got the bugs worked...

I could kinda 'tell'. He's a bit stronger on the spectrum than some, so I think it was obvious. Kudos for poking the big Blizzard beast and winning though!

I slap my hands when one misbehaves, but not as a stim. I tap my fingers to my thumb as a stim though.

Was born with ADHD Inattentive including central auditory processing disorder. For me, the old medicine, coffee - caffeine compounds, work better than Ritalin/other stronger stimulants to temporarily reduce some ADHD symptoms a little (not a cure). Yes, I drank caffeinated tea to control mine, spik...

Take a prenatal vitamin, cause they are loaded with the iron and fiber in a safe dose. And get that checked, really. Blue palms and feet can be caused by medications such as calcium channel blockers often used for high blood pressure, and any medication that depletes iron. If you're not on anything,...

An Adult. :P I kid, I kid. I'd LOVE to be The Doctor. Seriously. I'd take Mum out to explore all that history she's so fascinated with, check out the future, have a blast exploring space. That would be the ultimate fulfilment, to learn ANYTHING. And to share it with someone, cause what's the point i...

Thanks for this topic, Alex. A lot of psychiatric conditions have the same stigmas as AS/PDDNOS/HFA have to face every day. Just cause you don't see my problem doesn't mean it isn't real.

I take Lyrica, since the time that I was diagnosed with Asperger's - either the diagnosis or the Lyrica completely changed my life, expecially my interaction with strangers. Me too! That's so weird! I was taking it for pain from a damaged nerve, since I ran out of gabapentin and was able to 'acquir...

I don't like pills either, but I have to take a few cause of random conditions. I'm on Celexa, which is an antidepressant, but it's also used for generalised anxiety. Now, I'm only on day 4, but I have an incredibly fast metabolism, so my body is basically on 'day' 6 of the drug. No side effects yet...

I'm actually just starting out on medication for ADHD. Right now doc's getting me on Celexa cause of the hyper anxiety, says it should help. Day 4 and it seems to, but won't know for sure for a while. It does calm down the 'gotta move gotta do, cain't think, come back thought!' mentality I had going...

Me, I'd want David Tennant. I might be physically female, but I'm actually third gender, and he can play androgynous REALLY well.

Plus, he'd have to interview me, which means I'd get him into a room with me. Dream come true!

My mum has possible AS, she's got a lot of the same traits as me. So while she was never cold, she was distant in comparison to my friends mother. But, I never cared. She did good raising me, sure she never played with sis and I, but she never complained when we would play either. So meh. My dad was...
