"Please" is not a tongue twister and not hard to pronounce, for me. "Can you" is two syllables and "please" is just one syllable. "please" is short for "if you please", which means "if you want". "Can you" sounds like just b/c you... |

"precision of language" ("the giver") At my job at home Depot, all customers and associates phrase requests as "can you". "Can you" is not specific enough. "Can you" could mean "do you know how", "will you", "are you allowed ... |

Bee
Nobody is perfect
One quality could be a good thing in one situation and a bad thing in a different situation
For example, some job descriptions specify "outgoing", but outgoing is not always a good thing
It is not possible to objectively measure the quality of a character trait |

Bee Not everyone defines and measures "friendliness" the same way Yes, like you said, it is possible he was trying to be "friendly", but I don't think that was a good way to be "friendly" or "engage in conversation ". However I am not telepathic. For all I kno... |

Today I had barely walked inside Safeway when some dude in a security guard uniform had the nerve to walk towards me, with an over exaggeration of my walking gait. "You got a pimp walk", he had the nerve to tell me. "The way that I walk is a function of autism", I told him. Then ... |

Aspergers445 for a couple years before home depot hired me in 2020, i was applying to a lot of jobs. some in person interviews, some phone interviews, zero other offers. if/when i get made redundant or quit my job, no other company will hire me. some people are just more receptive to autistics than ... |

about 3 years ago, tried a new food: la cascada, lentil salad (about $7 for 10 ounces). liked it a lot. about one year ago, tried instant oatmeal. (which is doesn't really count b/c it's so similar to granola, which i used to eat a lot of). today, finally summoned up the energy to go to an internati... |

Today at work I found out I have a new supervisor. Instead of Stephanie, Angela
I like Stephanie a lot more than Angela because Stephanie has never been out of control around me.
But whatever. "Life" goes on and on and on |
