Anyone going to watch the Perseids tonight? It's cloudy over here, so I don't think I'll be able to.

Yes, definitely going to try, but in NYC there may be way too much ambient light. Probably will have to drive to the country in the middle of the night to do it! :)

^ How to start? Probably by reviewing the last 1816 pages to find out why we have all utterly failed.

I remember back in the days when we were creatively trying to kill it, we thought this thread would never make it to 1000 pages:

We can kill every thread but this one - not even Strapples can kill it, neither with neoprene nor latex. :o

Oh, it's gone a lot longer than that - over a week, in fact.

Probably was that neoprene-suited guy that almost did it, but I beg you not to try that again. :pale:

^ It has been a gathering place for those of us who kill threads.

Yet none of us have been able to kill THIS one - it's really weird. :?

Not dead yet, I see. Almost, though.

:) Hey Social_Fantom, glad you are OK - I have been on a WP hiatus myself, but I was a little worried when I saw that you had disappeared.

I visited Threadkillers to claim the 1800th page in your honor.

Although, I did not mention your name as I claimed it.

Wow, Strapples - you almost did it!

The Thread has been comatose and nearly dead for 1 week, 18 hours and 20 minutes!

Impressive! :o

The best thing that can be said about George W. Bush is that he is no longer the President of the United States.

Yeah, it's weird. I feel as though I'm still around 25, but the mirror is telling me something completely different. When I look around for the grownups, I realize that is what I am supposed be - it is kind of frightening.

It would be pretty nice to never have to endure the stench of people's cologne and perfume again, but on the other hand it would be horrible to be deprived of the ability to smell or taste food.

I would rather keep all of my senses, and just stay away from noisy, smelly people.
