Anyone who would show any sympathy for those two terrorists may as well be a terrorist himself. Massachusetts does not have an enforceable death penalty statute, having been struck down by court ruling in 1984. He is likely to spend his remaining days in prison, so for now give Dzhokhar just enough...

I trust the rules and guidelines on WP prohibit vilifying people's religions?

Any muslims on WP who would like to respond to Mr Ruveyn?

People settle that with a flame war. If bashing religion was prohibited, most of the devout atheists would be banned!

The Tea Party believes in Caveat Emptor, in deregulating everything in sight and if people die, well that's just how the cookie crumbles, preventing such deaths is the Nanny State in action. That's its ideology. There's this acceptance that Job Creators are allowed to kill with impunity and the Tea...

Looks like water helps it explode and the firefighters were not professionals. Looks like the whole thing has a caveat emptor Tea Party quality to it... well, that's what happens. What would the tea party have to do with any of this? They are the kind of people you would expect to find working ther...

I wish I had a camera about 10 years ago when I was in San Bernardino county (CA) in a rural, area near the mountains. There was this little general store advertizing a sale on beer and jerky. I knew right then what the local demographics of the area were like!

I think of a better question: which bathroom do transgender people are allowed to use? or what are the consequences of a transgender person to choose X bathroom? If they get in trouble or something happens for using whatever bathroom they choose, that is their choice and the consequence that comes ...

how about the bathroom that matches their chromosomes as a safeguard against predators claiming to be transgender? Or how about changing bathrooms from "men" and "women" to "XY" and "XX", with an exception for extremely rare XY females who have a medical condition where the sex chromosomes are reve...

Everybody hates filibusters until it's used for something they approve of. If you take it away, you're hurting your own side too. And regardless which side uses them, filibusters tend to help ensure that legislation is well thought-out. In the case of the background check bill, bringing a bill that...

With all due respect to Jimmy Stewart in "Mr. Smith goes to Washington," I don't think the filibuster is such good a thing. Gun control loses: No expanded background checks http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5ia_bxlaT0yivXIHcXFsp8PB5h1eg?docId=a16b3da829e34c05ab9ead2f9d63e7fd " . . . ...

Looks like the suspected Saudi National has been cleared. You gotta feel sorry for the guy, comes to school in America only to get injured in the bombings and be labeled a suspect all on ethnic profiling.

I saw a press conference less than an hour ago and the FBI was still investigating him.

What happened in Boston is like 9/11 all over again (although on a lesser scale). I can only send my condolences. Yep, I've heard it all too. Al-Qaeda, White Supremacists, North Korea, blah blah blah, whatever. At this point, it's not important who did it. It's time to mourn. I know, it was reptili...

I doubt that McVeigh and Nichols did it. Not only do the feds continue to cover up the activities going on around the outside of the building in the minutes before and after the blast (the only security tape was finally returned to it's owner last year...edited), but when the army corps of engineers...
