Yeah, I do. It might be part of the anxiety from having such great social difficulty, and the overstimulation of paying attention to conversation. When I'm out and about town not so much. When I was on medication this wasn't a problem, but since I went off three years ago, I can relate. Wish I had a... |

You can say:
Look, I can see what you're doing. Quit playing head games, alright. I have enough s*** in my life and I don't need your bulls*** on top of it. |

Don't fit the stereotype, and I don't fit all the symptoms either. |

I see what you are saying; however, in my opinion, it's sort of splitting hairs. If you were successful before the diagnosis, there's no reason you should be unsuccessful after it. You are assuming that my goal is to be successful in my job and win my colleague's approval, my goal is to understand ... |

I think it is important to remember that there was no "Asperger's" when older people were young. Kind of hard to be diagnosed with a diagnosis that doesn't exist. That doesn't mean that they didn't have Asperger's back then. They had it, there was just no name for "it." So it's not just that someti... |

The f****** up thing is, it's hard to find a job that doesn't do just that. |

IMHO, I think that depends on how much she can spend on surgery.
Should I spend money on losing mine right now or wait for the perfect lady?
Please advise.

.............. because its the healthcare systems mistake, and not yours in not dxing you earlier. that is tantamount to a religious believer saying "the devil made me do it". it is your responsibility and no one else. How can you compare that line to "the devil made me do it." Look, you can try al... |

It might be a little petty, but I find myself feeling a little resentful of the younger generation getting a dx. They sometimes get accommodations, and at least they know why they're different. for some reason I feel jealous. you know? |

Summer camp seems geared toward super normal, able bodied middle class kids and nothing else. That's the impression I get. And the counselors seem like they wouldn't tolerate anything else. |

I'm just curious. I want to know if you feel not having played has somehow effected your development.
And please mods, don't move this to video games forum. It's not about games. And I'd imagine nobody in the games forum hasn't played. |

I'm not extroverted but I'm outgoing. It sucks, actually. A few days ago I saw a guy walking his dog near a mulberry tree and I just was like "HEY CHECK OUT THIS MULBERRY TREE MAN" to a random person. It sucks because.... I got Aspergers and still have crap social skills, but I like talking to peop... |
