Rachel Dolezal is as African-American as David Lammy is English. |

Anyone else write this?
I've decided to write at least one a day. If anyone is interested in reading it, my Tumblr is here.
Worldbuilding I enjoy. Coming up with settings isn't a problem for me, coming up with plots is. I'm hoping this will improve my ability to do the latter. |

Now I want to write a 'Neurotypical novel'.

There's probably a solid ethical argument to be made that *any* research into changing people's neurotype needs to be prevented. Not even because it will be abused and used on people without their consent (e.g. children) to normalise them. No, because it will be used to turn some people into sociopa... |

I'm definitely ace, and I *think* I'm aro. I've thought I had crushes in the past (rarely), but I can't recall ever wanting to do anything romantic, except as part of a script ("you are dating, therefore you do x" - not that I ever dated anyone). They've always been the way they're describ... |

Is there?
I find it all rather tiresome when those scenes crop us. Do regular people get some kind of excitement when watching The Witcher, or Game of Thrones? What a waste of precious screentime. |

This *is* something that needs to be discussed. The survival rate for people on ventilators with this disease ranges from 6-33%, and it's very traumatic to be vented. If you're at the end of your life, you really need to think about whether you want to go through that to have a small chance of gaini... |

I can't really imagine the local groups being incorporated, so legal issues shouldn't crop up. What would they have to incorporate for? Buying a clubhouse? |

Like what you wrote on suggestions but perhaps ,not all things at any one meeting.. Advocacy in the community . Maybe important but . There we are inviting AS peeps to interact with N Ts . Not terribly apetizing , might think, at least initially . Internal support , just being comfy with one anothe... |

I think that's a cool idea as a way to geographically list small groups. I'm thinking of something far different though. Rather than organize (ie compile) a list of small groups that form, I'm talking about an organization devoted to serving and representing primarily adults with autism. The follow... |

Okay, a little more detailed than I was thinking... I was only thinking about the architecture and urban planning side of things (I really can't wait to get started on our neighbourhood plan design code!). Ironically, a lot of what you suggested is part and parcel of the traditional city design (rea... |

Anyone else doing it this year?
I have put off writing my novel for a month, because I think it may be easier to do in November when there will be a lot of other people doing so. I have it all planned out, though. |

So there'd be a forum for each country, say, and threads for the regions there. Or perhaps we just need a single forum for all of them, but I can imagine the number of threads would get unwieldy. Maybe have a stickied index, and an understanding of what the areas are named by (for example, in the UK... |

Here: It's both nice and too bad that there are people from all around the world here; many will never be able to meet each other face to face even if they wanted to. It would be very nice if Wrong Planet had a sub-forum called "Local/regional discussion," whose thread topics were all req... |

Okay. Let's get Alex to add a geographical forum and see what happens. Bottom up is easier to start than top down. |
