The only complaint I've really gotten was when I was working at a place that makes most of the costumes and heads for Disney. The manager called me into the office and told me that I needed to work on being more punctual (I was showing up about 5 minutes late). But then, he told me that I was doing ...

GODD**N MOTHERF**KING SON OF A B**CH!! ! Sorry, but I just saw Fall Out Boy's music video for "I don't care", which I should have gotten to make the life-casts of, for their peel-away masks (life-casts of the entire band, plus Mark Hoppus), as well as work on Senses Fail's new video. My boss knows t...

Well, LPP, I guess I owe you an apology then. Due to your other thread, I'd assumed that you were trying to use an unpopular theory to discredit a popular psychiatrist when, in fact, you are (perhaps unknowingly) using a respected psychiatrist's ideas to discredit a generally unpopular theory.

Dexter is one of my favorite shows. I agree that he has a lot of aspie qualities. I love the whole 'pretending to be normal' thing and his awkwardness in not knowing what to say when dealing with other people. No, it doesn't mean that suddenly everyone is going to think that anyone with aspie qualit...

Elijah Price; "Mr. Glass" from "Unbreakable" (Samuel L. Jackson's character).

Because I have the same rare bone disease that he had and a pretty similar childhood.

I'm sorry, but trying to use one conclusion, that could be wrong, to discredit every other conclusion that a person arrived at in the course of their career is just ridiculous. All that we can do, individually, is observe what we see around us and then try to make sense of it. Throughout the course ...

You : "Thanks" No groveling required. Seriously, your posts make it sound like you're asking for th...

NO WAY!! ! We're visual twinsies!! ! Are there other people with this? Is it called something? Hey, we're even the same age. :P I'm guessing that it's just one of those random variants that just happens occasionally. I've always just called it a red/blue shift, because my left eye sees everything i...

I'd say that I've made a pretty good life for myself.

I'm an artist who can say that millions of people have seen my artwork, which has allowed me to live comfortably.

I also have friends who I can depend on if I need help with anything. So yeah, I'm pretty happy with my lot in life.

OMG! I always see the color red popping out of a flat surface, especially if the background is black. I thought it was some kind of light bending thing from my contact lenses. YAY! I'm not the only one! I'm glad I'm not alone. :) I've talked to people who have heard of it, but no one else who's had...

From 18-20, I drank pretty heavily...and then my mom found a ton of empty beer bottles in my room (two large trash cans worth...hey, I was a lazy idiot) and confronted me about it. After that, I used weed as a crutch, to the point that I got a prescription for it. Much like NocturnalQuilter said abo...

I get accused of that all the time and I'm a girl. people seem to have a hard time believing that I would remember their face "just like that". they automatically think that it's because they are so beautifull and interesting. and I just can't help it lol Hmm...I guess it works the same both ways. :)

Yep. I don't care for H's and W's because I perceive them as yellow, which is one of my least favorite colors. I also have a red/blue shift between my right and left eyes. When I see blue and/or red, especially on a black background, the red appears to hover above the page while the blue appears to ...

I guess my definition of autism would have to include include what my dad, who has Asperger's, refers to as "shifting". "Shifting" would be the the ability to access a place in my mind where nothing around me truly matters. I guess I would describe it as shifting the gears of my mind and accessing a...
