Have you ever told someone you really dislike them? or in some other way just totally shattered their illusions about you, or about what you think of them?

I usually try to hold it back but the longer it goes on the more I feel like I am going to blow up and say it anyway.

...Society trying to restrain your anger? I used to have lots of public tantrums, and it's understandable why people would want to stop them, but I believe that my issues were caused by society telling me to hold everything in. Yeah, to a large extent. Not just anger but being expected to hold ever...

This forum has helped me understand myself a lot more, and there is a certain comfort in knowing that other people have similar experiences and/or think a lot like I do. If I looked at this as a place to socialize or make friends, it would be really disappointing...it's pretty empty of that. It's li...

Yeah I tend to look spaced out and not all there. I am always surprised when I catch a glimpse of my reflection unexpectedly, or see myself on video, because I don't look like what I think I look like. And I hate seeing photos of myself. Plus people will ask me "are you sure?" over the mos...

Very well said BirdInFlight. Not that there is any reason why you should have to explain any further. I know sometimes the trap I fall into is I think if I keep explaining, the other person will somehow understand. Sometimes they just don't get it. Seriously, why can't anyone just respect, right awa...

I would never give you the advice you are looking for. Maybe you should go out with him, you aren't that old. There's no pressure for it to work, even negative pressure to make it not work, so you could be yourself. Why would you suggest that? She's made it pretty clear she is not interested in dat...

If a person turns you down three times for a date, move on. They are just not into you. Three times? Shouldn't you move on if they just turn you down once? No that was the rule I learned in Mozart and the Whale book when a guy told Jerry the three strike rule about dating. He scared a girl out of h...

That dog was probably sensing that guy was being a jerk and came to your aid. lol That is just priceless, like a scene from a movie. I would have busted out laughing and done it so obnoxiously he would be too embarrassed to ever come around again. That guy who was calling me - to be fair I never rea...

Oooh I love floral shoes...hadn't thought of that. I like the print in the second photo you posted. Yep, heels usually fit better when you go down half a size. And fabric shoes are best for a wedding...of course they can still be made of leather on the inside. I came across some blue Badgley pumps o...

Today I repeated everything I said, but he only left when someone's dog randomly peed on the backpack he had put down on the ground, lol. LOL, that is hilarious, and totally serves him right. Sorry you are having to deal with this. I've always thought the same way, I can't blame a guy for trying - ...

People really do say things like "you should come" or "let's get together" or "don't go yet" when they mean exactly the opposite. It's not ALWAYS like that - sometimes people really are being sincere. You're just supposed to figure it out somehow. And if they really mea...

- When somebody says "You should come" they are not being sincere, they are being polite and you are supposed to decline. This is just so bizarre when people say the EXACT opposite of what they mean. I will never believe that we are the ones who have a problem for not understanding it. I ...

It's weird that people have to decide you're something in order to figure out why you're not involved with anyone. People can't seem to just accept that you don't choose it. Yep...or even if you're not revealing whether or not you are involved with anyone, it's like they still have to come up with ...

Sorry, this isn't actually something that annoys me as such, but it's something I don't know how to answer and causes me to get confused and pedantic and the other person is just looking at me going ''okaaaaay...." "Where are you from?" - So are you supposed to say where you live now...

I'm not even that short, I am 5 foot 7, but I find sometimes petite clothes fit me better, especially coats. I have petite proportions, short arms and legs, long torso, high waist, but also full figured...I need curvy petite clothing but it is really hard to find. If I go out to buy new clothes I ca...
