I would "feel sorry" in the sense that the kid may have a lot of issues to overcome in his or her life. but just for having Autism/Aspergers not really unless it's there's some MR or profound issues that would prevent that person from having a "normal-Functioning" life.

Which is a good thing. it's a good thing I have an understanding boss and that things are actually going well for a change...kinda like a 2nd chance at life if you will Aspe...

Is there any way the two of you can reach a peaceful truce? Helping to bring the groceries in is probably something you should do without being asked, but missing calls happens. It's certainly not something to yell at someone about. Well, I did not know before hand that he was going food shopping t...

As he's going on with his ranting he starts to threaten me (which I know by now are 99.9...

I think there's some what more of a stigma when one refers to a person as autistic vs a person with autism I know both are used interchangeably The only time that I would perhaps get offended by a meme is if it had a picture of adam lanza or james holmes because it's like saying people with asperger...

I got to escape, I got to find a dark quiet room. Although nobody knew at the time that's how I dealt with my sensory overload. I was always getting grounded. LOL Their punishment meant a reprieve for me. I remember many times thinking how nice it would be that I would be away from people. No other...
