I think that it does make a difference if certain behaviour is the result of some condition (like autism) or not.

Unfortunately I smoke daily. I used to smoke occasionally (when I had much stress) but in September 2017 I had so much stress and smoking helped so much that I got addicted and smoke even on calm days (though on such days I smoke just one or two). I hope to quit soon but I'm noy trying yet.

For me currently success would mean to be able to keep a dog. I would have to be independent enough, have enough space, money and perspective for future 10-15 years that I would be sure that I could keep it.

I'm far from it unfortunately.
