I read something like that too, but I obviously didn't lack imagination.

My imagination was big. I used to turn my garden into a big house, using my mind, and I lived in this ''house'' for hours. Think about it - pretending a garden is a house. Must be a pretty hard thing to ''turn into'', but I did it. I pretended some humps and bumps in the ground were walls, and bushe...

I used to be a little confused back when I was aged 11-14, but I think that was immaturity mixed with developing into an adolescent. Sometimes children of that age can become a little confused, but they outgrow it very quickly. I did too. By age 15 I knew I was no bisexual nor homosexual. I quickly ...

Looks like a better way to word it. Maybe it's not too late to change the title.

Not sure if ''sociology'' is a word, but I can't think of another word for this. I was just wondering. I don't mean it affect how they socialise the same as us - I just mean can their learning difficulties sometimes make them come across as horrible people, even though they weren't trying to be horr...

When I sit quietly and don't join in, I am told that I'm too quiet, or people comment that I'm shy, or encourage me by saying "don't be afraid to join in". Me too. When I sit there quietly whilst the others are all having a conversation between them, they soon look at me and say, ''you're quiet. Ar...

I never think about harming people generally. I only do when I have a wave of anger come over me - and somebody has got to do something to annoy or upset me in order for those thoughts to come. Psychopaths get this urge whether they are happy or not, and don't have any cares or feelings, and don't s...

Violence has got nothing to do with Autism. On the news I hear of a murder every week, and Autism is never mentioned in the case. Did anyone hear of that 60-year-old woman in Tenerife who had her head randomly cut off in the shop? I bet that man who murdered her wasn't Autistic nor on drugs, since h...

Lucky for me I only have 1 sensory issue, which is sound. The sound I mostly can't stand is toddlers screaming. It just cannot be ignored. My ears and brain absolutely hate the sound. I hate sudden noises aswell. I hate it when cars bib as they go past me. My worst fear is seeing an ambulance coming...

I'm the other way around - I know how to join in conversations, but I'm too afraid to, in case people might look at me and say, ''I wasn't talking to you!''

I hate people dying, and I hate death all together (same goes with animals and insects!) But today I had such a bad day that I felt like murdering people, and I'm scared in case my thoughts get worse and worse until I actually do it. But maybe I just felt like this a lot today because I was having a...

If Aspies like or need routine, then how come it is known for them to have no concept of time or organisation? I think NTs have no concept of time. When I met my friend the other day (who is NT), I told her that I want to get the 3.05 bus home. So we went shopping, then at 2 o'clock my friend said, ...

I'm not sure if this is due to my anxiety disorder or not, but I seem to get very freaked out by things. For example, once I was in a big building and the fire alarm went off, and there was a monotone voice on a tape thing coming from nowhere and everywhere saying ''please exit the building. Do not ...

Telephone contact is better than face to face contact because no one can see the erratic gestures I make and voices can be trained very well (also you can conveniently blame things on the line quality ). When dealing with customers face to face, they can see the unconfident but kind expressions on ...
