Sensory Overload is something that happens if you suffer from Sensory Integration Disorder. It is a wide umbrella of issues, one of which is Sensory Defensiveness...which I suffer from. I remember the first time I read that term. I felt immediately like it described what I suffered from. For some pe...

I was the golden child when I was young. I was precocious...they called me Dr. Spock. I was logical, and cute, and very serious. I knew so many things, and acted like a little grown up. I told jokes (but had no understanding of them), I did accents (and told jokes) and was very accomplished. And the...

I used to wear it...but it always felt odd...like I was wearing a mask. I hated Mascara. Lipstick was gross.

I don't wear it at all anymore unless I"m going for a job interview. I figure I am who I am. I feel so much more natural. If I'm feeling really playful, maybe some eyeliner.

The flourescent lights are crazy...the high pitched sounds of the security systems are enough to send you over the edge...Too many sounds, soo much stimulus, lights, people, aaaaargh. I go when it's super quiet. I try and choose one store to do tactical strikes in. I know what I'm going for, what I'...

I always shave my pits....the smell lingers otherwise. It's just genetics...And it's itchy if I don't. Legs...not to much in the winter if at all...and only in the summer if I bother wearing shorts. I'm a pants kinda person. I HAVE to trim my underwear area. It drives me over the brink if I don't. F...

I always wished I were a guy. All my friends were guys...they told me I was one of the guys....and I never felt femmy...all the stuff that most women do seemed odd. Then I fell in love with my best friend. First time I ever felt like I fit in. I was a gay woman with another gay woman. She's the only...

I hate when movies make me feel embarassed for the main character...or when you're supposed to feel bad for them. I like movies that you aren't supposed to really feel anything for them. Sometimes I like thrillers because they are like puzzles. I love puzzles and anything that needs to be figured ou...
