That's because your personal definition of what constitutes a person's "sex" isn't particularly relevant to the rest of us. And don't pull the, "Science says so," crap. The irony. I don't have a personal definition of sex. You are projecting. The OP makes a post asking about humans changing sex, an...

I think that my dedication to my eating disorder could easily be linked to my AS. I mean, the routines(exercise/eating etc), the memorization of calories/fat/carbs and the highly focused interest on my ED/weight/how to lose it are very similar to other behaviours I have. What I've heard time and ti...

Does anyone here have firsthand experience of AN with ASD? Do you think that they are related? What do you think of people saying that AN is a 'female form of Aspergers'?

I know it is easier to get diagnosed, but i am from India and its really hard to find a good psychologist. And don't want to bother my parents with this.

Why don't you want to bother your parents? Their role is to take care of you.

The second time I was unaware of the diagnosis until now, about four months later. Think I should go for a third? :D I don't understand, how is it you weren't aware of the diagnosis? Did the diagnosing doctor forget to fill you in on his findings or something? Doctors don't always tell you what the...

Where was this? I'm inclined to disagree. And there could be other reasons for avoiding eye contact.

I think people should actually listen to each other in conversations and share their actual thoughts/feelings (isn't that the point of conversation?). Maybe there would be less hate that way, because people wouldn't have the pent up passive aggression due to the social norm that we agree with others...

I was always at least overweight, and was obese for 7+ years, until I took a prescription weight loss medication, but I continue to have to keep my calories <500 a day (if I bike). I'm looking now into pursuing thyroid treatment. D: Considering that you're consuming a starvation amount of calories,...

What makes you think he has AS? It's kind of dodgy how you've got your mind set on the idea that he has based on observing him; are you a psychologist?

He's 'soft-natured' but he punched you in the stomach? Honestly, I'd keep away from him. As odd as it may sound, he is such a gentleman and very soft-natured hence my surprise and question. It didn't occur to you to ask him why he had just assaulted you? I suspected at the time that he had AS and I...
