I noticed that when I get excited my hands twist and flap and that when I'm nervous, I wring them continously. |

I wish my parents had taken me to a psychologist when I was a child. I had obvious AS traits back then and neither of them did a damn thing about it. I finally saw a psychologist when I was 20 and those traits weren't as obvious hence my NLD diagnosis. |

Nonverbal meaning, having less than two sufficient conversations a day.. I was wondering if anyone else is like that, and how do you get by? That's not what nonverbal means. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nonverbal_learning_disorder http://www.thefreedictionary.com/nonverbal The second and third defi... |

I do talk a lot but I don't speak very often.
That's only because when I open my mouth, people talk over me and don't hear me speak (it irritates me) or I speak too fast and no one can understand what I'm saying.
Are you talking about nonverbal as in a nonverbal learning disability? |

That sounds like me on certain subjects such as musical group, a computer game series, or a book series. For me, I get into a subject for about three months then the obsessions switches to a different one. I'm not sure if it's common for those on the spectrum or not. |

I had a feeling something like that would be done. Ah well. But thanks for commenting on this.
I'm diagnosed as having generalized anxiety disorder so as you can imagine, I'm freaking out about this. |

It's even stupider when you consider that people are born with Autism. A vaccination or not won't change that. So true. How could a vaccine comprised of inactivated tetanus toxins somehow modify the way a child's brain works? It couldn't. It's just like the nonsense about cannabis apparently causin... |

http://i1228.photobucket.com/albums/ee450/Tiffani_Willis/IMG_0974_zps45e5d973.jpg I'm not sure how a dentist would fix this problem. The tooth is chipped because the cavity broke it and I cannot afford to get it fixed right now. Not to mention the fact I'm terrified of dental procedures. Sorry for ... |

I don't have a lot of issues conversing with people but it's very awkward to do so. I realize when people are talking about things I'm not interested in I tune out the conversation and go off into my own little world. |

Yes for the majority of the time. My mind tends to go blank when I'm trying to think of what to say so that my speech doesn't come out like a trainwreck that mumbles. I also tend to tune out my surroundings so I'm always off in my own little world. I don't know if my antidepressants have anything to... |
