I had one where we are still friends..The only reason the relationship wouldn't work was because he was a foreign worker and when he tried to apply for permanent residency, the government rejected his application. He had to go back to his country since he was already on his last visa. He seemed aspi...

Based on this situation, I'd suggest contacting the police and state what is going on and your sister should do the same. Also get a restraining order to keep him away. I know this sounds harsh, but you have every right to protect yourself and if he does end up in custody, I'd recommend asking the c...

It was 73 earlier this morning and I was chilled (FL is usually 80's 90's) So I put on a thick sweater. Sure it warmed up to 82 (which is nice) but that little nip of 73 no thanks! I HATE Winter! I also hate cold shower water I usually have the water on hot to where my skin is red. In that weather,...

Has anyone else noticed that Chinese children are usually quiet and well behaved? In the shopping center or other places they don't run around screaming or climbing all over things. I wonder why? Perhaps their parents just won't accept such behavior. "Upper class" English children don't behave like...

I'd take them as is, but would prefer they be born in a way in which they will not end up being bullied or denied life opportunities. I would want them to be happy and enjoy life and feel loved and wanted.

Kind of...I sometimes say hi and chat a bit. They know who I am and I know who they are. Back in my hometown, we knew all of our neighbours since it was a small town. They would sometimes bake pies for us and such and we would bring them stuff as well.

Heck..you are 21, ...if you can't fall asleep due to the noise, get an iPod or a radio and a bottle of rye whiskey or vodka....that oughtta get you to sleep. Just lay back with your tunes playing and let the rye do the rest. My favourites are Royal Reserve or Crown Royal ( Canadian whiskies)

One way to solve this would be to get rid of the provincial smoking bans..Allow restaraunts and such to decide on their own whether or not smoking should be allowed....I don't think too many parents would want to bring their kid to a restaraunt where people are lighting up cuban cigars. :D

At the movie theatre when the movie is on. people in front of me would stand up and stay standing for a prolonged period of time and go through their bag or purse standing up not caring that others are trying to watch the movie....yet it would have been unacceptable if I were to ask them to have con...

Go, but bring an iPod or a Nintendo DS in your bag or purse so if they start the NT thing of nattering away and ignoring you in the corner, you could pull out the DS or the iPod and play them loudly. If they complain, just say you felt left out so you got something to keep yourself enterta...

I don't need to tell anyone unless it's to get a government job where it will then be an advantage in the hiring phase due to affirmative action. My best friend knows I have many quirks (both the gifts and the drawbacks) and he likes me just the way I am...I do not need to throw a label on it. It is...

As far as who is telling the truth, that would be up to the courts to decide if it were to go to trial. Since this would most likely take place in Civil Proceedings if it does go that far, the onus would be on the owner to prove he wasn't discriminating. In civil court, the plaintiff only has to pro...

In Canada, you can file a human rights complaint and SUE them for discrimination based on disability

I don't think they have these type of screening tests in Canada for the reason being our laws our very strong. They cannot have any form of screening like this UNLESS IT AFFECTS SAFETY and the EMPLOYER MUST PROVE THAT. If a store had that type of screening here for the purpose of keeping autistics f...
