Like I said, if it weren't for the stories, I would've dropped him instantly. Unfortunatley, it wasn't that easy. We had been working on them since I was in high school and continued them through "the college ages". I'm about to start attending my third college now. A lot has definitely changed in m...

It sounds like you're having upheavals all over your life. This can turn out very well, even if it hurts a lot in the meantime. The ex-boyfriend - I get the impression that he's really past tense. You have to grieve the loss - can you get counseling - this is a very big issue and you shouldn't have...

Through the changing circumstances, The Universe is sending you an influx of positive energy you need. You will feel better soon. However, if you pour this energy down the drain by spending it on your ex-boyfriend, The Universe will stop giving it to you. You can never get sick enough to heal someo...

Here's something else that's really big that I forgot to mention above: When I was fourteen, I was molested by my uncle. I escaped just before he could rape me. Because of this, I have become very tramatized. Like my ex, I still have a lot of nightmares about this creep. Even my dad says that if he ...

Late last December, just before Christmas and my twenty-first birthday, my boyfriend broke up with me. He doesn't think it was a very bad break-up, but I definitley think it was. I went into a full-blown depression just in time for the holidays because of it. He seemed happier. During the next few m...

I still do not get the difference between NVLD and autism. Someone said they didn't have obsessive interests, made good eye contact, liked to socialize, but had trouble recognizing people. So, then, what DO NLD's have problems with and how is it different than autism? I mean, I've read about NLD. P...

I hate clothes that are outdated LOL My mom thinks I'm the best dressed person in Indy with the way my clothes and shopping habits are. In fact, I'm about to sell a bunch of mine because I feel like they're already outdated in my eyes. Some are as recent as 2008. When it comes to specific types of c...

Does anyone know if having headaches most of the time is something connected with NLD?

Do people with NLD have problems with eye-contact too?

Thanks in advance for your insights!

I have NLD and I never get headaches or have problems with eye contact

I've learned just last week that when someone uses a napkin over and over (like after every bite), it drives me bonkers. But then again, I don't like that particular person as it is, so I think that may have had a lot to do with it.

I have this thing that runs in my family where my hands are always frozen. Even if it's 90F, they're still cold. It doesn't really take much to get me cold though- I'm short and thin so the cold air just goes right through me. I like it best when the temperature is about 86F with humidity and a slig...

Wow, we're VERY different! I'm fine at socializing now, but I always prefer being alone to being with people. It's easier and less stressful, and with my obsessions I can keep myself occupied forever. I also do my best to have a routine, and to not break it if I can possibly help it! I hate change ...

I hate pants. I need to wear a belt with slim sizes because they're always too loose. But if I go down a size, the length is too short. This is why I typically wear leggings or tights with skirts and dresses. The pair of jeans I was wearing today ended up bruising my left hip, too. And yes, they wer...

+6 This evening has been just awesome. A lot of good news happened for me, some really bad karma happened to people I'm mad at (My mom thinks it was thanks to my voodoo lol) and some really bad issues are just gone thanks to some awesome people. I've been so depressed for the last three weeks, so it...
