Did anyone else watch or hear about the James Webber telescope launch that occurred earlier today? I did, and I'm pleased that nothing's gone wrong (so far). I can't wait to see what it sends back in a couple of months' time!

I too feel suspicious about this. Nothing about us without us, after all. Really hope this isn't just something made for NTs but minimally including autistic people to give the resemblance of diversity.

I can see Komi as autistic too, since a lot of her problems feel very familiar. Also reminding me of Tomoko Kuroki. I have been a little let down by some reactions to Najimi being something like it is a joke, or that they haven't confirmed anything, so they can't really be non-binary. While the amb...

Adolescence of Utena. It's an anime film, but it has a canon wlw couple! And they kiss at the end! The series, Revolutionary Girl Utena, is also highly worth watching.
I also like She-Ra and the Princesses of Power (TV series) which has multiple queer relationships and also nonbinary characters!

While not my absolute favourite novel of all time, Watership Down is also up there for me. I also really liked the mythology segments, and the stuff the characters had to go through was a lot more than what you would expect from "a story about rabbits finding a new home". And Woundwort... ...

This is the test run of my opinion polls idea which I posted about sometime early this year. This time the question is simple: which of these to holiday foods do you prefer? Candy canes or gingerbread? Options for both and neither are there as well. Since I'll be doing this regularly starting at som...

I have returned to this thread to announce that I am a MASSIVE Komi Can't Communicate fan. The nonbinary character, Osana Najimi, is genderfluid, and while they may be the punchline of jokes at times, I still like them a lot. Then there's Komi who is my absolute favourite character. I absolutely hea...

The Santa Claus(e) I think it's called? Santa dies and as soon as the man whose house he died while visiting (because he's an old man) picks up his card, he is contractually obligated to be the next Santa. Further sequels explore the idea of a contractual Mrs Claus(e), which... no thank you. I see y...

I can't speak for others on this, but my counsellor treats me well. She works for a charity dedicated to helping autistic people, so if she wasn't good and unconditionally accepting she wouldn't be there.

One of the recipes I started with was spaghetti Bolognese. It is both very simple and very tasty. Spaghetti can be harder to cook than ordinary pasta though.

I have never played Fire Emblem due to my sight issues meaning it's not as easily accessible, although I have read up on it a lot. I honestly think that Fates isn't as bad as everyone thinks (although thee are still issues with it) and that parts of the Three Hoses fandom should stop defending Edelg...

Luckily, no-one has ever said that to me, although I know there are absolutely people out there who think that's true, sadly. I just haven't come across any of them. I have, however, seen discussions debunking that argument quite a bit!

Certainly online, there are a lot of subcommunites within the community itself and I've seen more than one person on various sites saying that the online queer subcommunity is more inclusive of them than the online LGBTQ+ subcommunity, if that makes sense. I don't know very much about in-person comm...

I personally do not wish to medically transition at this time. My physical body isn't "wrong" per se to me - it's more the emotional/mental side.

Oh yes. I've had 1 teacher tell me that I should never ask why they ask me questions I find invasive, because they're a teacher and therefore are allowed. Like... no. That's not how it works.
Luckily they are an exception to the rule - most of the teachers at my school are great!
