"Turn the other cheek" had a much different meaning in the ancient middle east.There is a lot of symbolic gestures involved, and it amount to giving someone the opportunity to go away before you fight them. Remember, the disciples owned swords and Peter was known to carry one around Jesus.

It's fine. The earth can handle massive fluctuations of all kinds of things. CO2 has been higher than that and everything worked out fine, and the earth regulates it's temperature through the oceans so that there is no runaway warming or freezing.

I'm very constitutionalist conservative (not quite in line with the tea party) so I guess autism didn't affect my political orientation, but it may have a role in the intensity of my views.
