For a while there you had become civil and rational but I see that period in time has passed. I would love to take away your guns. I would love to strap you to a fat tree trunk, with a corn cob shoved up your butt halfway and your eye-lids stapled open, and force you to watch while I destroy...

It would cause feelings of woe and despair for annoying NRA gun nuts. Let's do it.

As I recall, Sandusky's bosses had met in order to discuss "Jerry's problem" in the previous years, with the minutes recorded. This alone implies they had had knowledge of his predilections, and had purposely covered it up. This isn't done when you have an innocent man. So I understand. I am not tr...

So...he was framed by the Illuminati? Your sarcasm does not bode well for serious discussion. If the catholic church can cover up this sort of thing why cant a university cover up for a lionized legendary coach? You mean there is an organization that is as corrupt as the Catholic Church? Which is m...

Paying taxes is fully voluntary because you can simply contribute sufficient "charitable" contributions to any 501(c)(3) organizations to pay off what you owe in tax deductions. If it's a charity you happen to have a vested or aesthetic interest in, it's something you would want to give that money t...

What made it happen? A change in people's thinking. They realized, after the black death and various epidemics, that they could and should fight AGAINST the ravages of nature, that they were not helpless in the face of "god's wrath," and they were willing to pour in the investment of energy to comb...

Okay, the Israeli right wing can kiss my butt. Like all right-wing political factions, they are racist, and their politics are as dirty as hell. As far as the rest of the country, I have a lot more sympathy, generally speaking, for their cause than I do for the Palestinians. The Palestinians don't ...

I hate people who carry guns in general. Not because they carry guns...but because they are the kinds of people who carry guns. They are jerks. Way too many of them are freaking dipshit conservatives. I think that we ought to make a practice of slapping them whenever we see them. I don't care if a c...

I think what's really going on is that a lot of people found his unusually intimate relationships with young people to be inappropriate and creepy, and they exaggerated it in their minds into this extreme level of perversity. Yes, I'm sure all the young guys wishing to prosecute him just found all ...

I am not going on much besides gut feelings, here, but I am skeptical of the authenticity of the charges against Jerry Sandusky. If nothing else, I think that the media has greatly exaggerated the level of certainty in the case. One major red flag for me is the McQueary testimony. I found his story...

I know that a lot of people are going to have trouble with the idea of giving a convicted child molester the benefit of the doubt, but I see a little too much money moving around, here. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/07/26/shower-victim-2-jerry-sandusky-penn-state_n_1706944.html A civil lawsuit...

Birth rates across the developed world are falling or very low alredy. Immigration can help, but obviously its not a real solution. For example, Germany and Japan alredy are losing population. For any civilization, being able to reproduce it self is fundamental. This is not negotiable for obvious r...
