I've never really been to them in my own leisure time and initiative because I'd be on my own and I have few friends and they don't always stay in contact and are not the going-out-types and so without I seem to feel like that because they are social environments for friends to meet in and chat, for...

I've explained in some previous threads before about feeling like I'm missing out on life if you don't try to go to a place where other young people congregate to have fun and meet new people and yet I've never been into the club scene and stuff because usually the music they play is stuff I don't l...

I do sometimes think a lot of the ridiculous stuff that some people are offended by may be sometimes made up by the media to talk and argue about. I saw something about the fact that the star wars character Jabba the Hutt is offensive because he is morbidly fat. I'm no star wars fan but the characte...

Many of us don't like being told off or shouted at whether its from our own parents or friends or teachers from school or bosses or colleagues from work or whoever but I seem to feel afterwards that it makes me feel and look bad and then I get angry and upset with myself about it and even tell mysel...

I don't know why but I went out and drove my mum down to a wildlife park today in the nice weather for both our birthdays and we both love animals and I don't know why I feel quite blue afterwards and coming back home. It was a pleasant day out and we were really grateful for the pleasant staff to s...

Forum: Random Discussion   Topic: How many times do we have to get vaccinated ?

I sometimes think what happens if most people globally get vaccinated even though its efficacy against transmission is not as good what happens then ? and I'd like to see the evidence that the virus is becoming endemic because I don't seem to think that is happening right now.

So to always shut down and damage our economies and make people's mental health even worse is a price worth paying ? I do now sound like someone who is anti lockdown even though I accepted the last three we had. But some people seem to make out as though even though many of us in the UK are vaccinat...

The government in the UK is saying they will not rule out a lockdown in the Autumn or Winter but its leaving me thinking how many more times do we lock down for ? We have had three so far and I will admit I was glad we did lock down and my anxiety eased during those times because of it and that I st...

I have had two Pfizer jabs and in the UK they will be doing booster shots I think mainly for the vulnerable, the elderly and people over 50 but I seem to think they may persuade younger age groups to take it at some point. I wondered at times how many times do we need to keep doing this ? I'm always...

As the saying goes ''One person's terrorist is another person's freedom fighter''. I seem to think that although groups like the IRA, the PLO, the Tamil Tigers, etc committed horrific acts of terror, they wanted their homelands given back to them from those occupying them. I understand that but I do...

For the first time in over a year I went out to another place (other than the town I work in) for the afternoon just because the weather was pleasant and inviting and I thought I brave it by going down there with my mask on. I don't know put I seem to feel as though I was feeling green with envy bec...

It puzzles me when I've heard of some 30 year olds dying, I mean their was a American guy aged 33 or 34 who was in boy band who died from it, and there was a 30 year old footballer from Brazil who died from it and it didn't specify why they died from the virus or if they had underlying health proble...

They have said in the past that certain age groups are more at risk from the virus. I remember seeing a list of notable people had tragically died and most were in their 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. However some of those people on that list were criminals such as serial killer Peter Sutcliffe who die...

It does annoys me with the perception by some people that someone struggling with mental health problems as being ''weak'' or liable to break under pressure or that if you are a man, you are not a ''man'' and a ''wimp'' because you are dealing with maybe long term mental health problems. I've heard ...

I've said on other threads before about my interest in history and that it can be problematic because as it depends on who has written the history. I seem to think that even to this day we demonise other countries in the East as being uncivilised and barbaric and undemocratic as the countries in the...

I keep reminding myself of what people have said to me that the pandemic won't last for eternity, it will end at some point but obviously the virus may still be around like other viruses. It does upset and frustrate me when I hear about the scientific predictions for the future when maybe scientists...
