*Did you cry over the sad death of Steve Jobs?

No. He never meant much to me, but I was slightly shocked when he died. If figured if he had cancer he would become bound to a death bed first, instead of suddenly just dying.

Sounds to me like you're more "Gifted" than a "Savant": I think a Savant is usually just one subject. (Actually, with the chemistry I'd say you're a miracle, if you get 100% and never study: did you just read through the text, or maybe sleep with your head on it like a pillow, like Edgar Cayce?) An...

Capable and candid, you're the one to say what everybody else is afraid to admit. You have the charisma of a great leader. You are willing to stand alone, but others are eager to join you. Too intense for some, often times people are intimidated by you. You are fierce. If you're in a bad mood, the e...

But sci fi is just plain awesome to read :D

This happened to me too.

Being Autistic sucks, no one around you understand you, and people either think your a sociopath or ret*d at first glance. Being called robotic does not feel good, it suggests we are subhuman and we don't like being treated subhuman.

What exactly makes someone a savant? I'm very intelligent, but I don't think I'm quite a savant. I'm pretty sure I scored the highest on the MAP tests in ever category, at least with everyone I've talked I scored significantly higher than them, except for one person who I tied with in Literary Analy...

Martin Prince on The Simpsons. Ungodly obsessed with grades and extra credit, brilliant at every school subject, unpopular because he assumes that all the other kids appreciate these skills. An incredibly smart Aspie. Somehow Ned Flanders also pops up. Totally no feeling for social situation, secre...

I rotate my underwear and pajamas every two days, and on the first day I wear a robe. I get up at five on most school days, then brush my teeth, put on deodorant, and pee after I manage to drag myself out of bed, then after that I get dressed, then I go down stairs and make myself breakfast, which i...

According to my GP, I can not be an Aspie because I do not conform to his ideas (stereotypes) of how an Aspie should behave: I do not wet the bed, play with fire, or torture animals. Where in the flock do people get these weird stereotypes? I thought those were meant to be red flags for psychopathy...

People are usually immediated by my intelligence until the know me for a while, and then I guess they either see that I wouldn't ever intenitonally use it to hurt them, that I'm not some sort of alien and that I have my own flaws and human nature, or something. I dunno.

I think aspies get better as they age, but a few things may make them appear worse.

1. More responsibilities being piled on at older ages that may just be too much

2. They may careless as they get older

It seems that my dad always sings the song in a solo in church. He's a great singer, but I've received mixed reception on my singing. I love this song.

I guess adding another 5 won't hurt... 16. I hate studying 17. I enjoy fiction 18. I can lie, but I avoid doing it when I can 19. I can usually pick up on sarcasm and I am often sarcastic myself 20. I'm good with abstract concepts I'm not sure if I should put up stereotypes I used to follow, but don...
