| My biggest roadblock is my anxiety, especially social anxiety. Yes, there are difficulties in self-disclosure. Most things I've read on it have said that it's best not to disclose until the last possible moment (i.e. after they offer you an interview or after they offer the job, if you can hide it).... |

| Is that really how people see autistic males? If so then I would hope that they do move away from that perception. It does seem that there is a lack of awareness as to what autism really is. I think that they should improve the voc rehab system so that it does a better job of helping all people with disabilities.

| Also the Dragonriders of Pern by Anne McCaffery. And any book by Mercedes Lackey, although hers are more fantasy than sci-fi. Both of these series do have a bit of romance, though, not sure how much is too much for you. |

| If you haven't read them yet, the Ender's Game series by Orson Scott Card and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series by Douglas Adams are both written in an easy-to-read style. They are both science fiction. |
