I’m going to the Optometrist today for an eye exam. I want to ask about my crippling light sensitivity, Irlen or reading issues, and Visual Snow. I’ve said it all before but my longtime Optometrist retired so I’ll have someone new to query today. I’m not convinced I’ll be buying another pair of $80...

You don't have to have special interests to be an autistic person. Under the DSM IV, Asperger's Syndrome was the condition that had 'special interest' associated with it, but other forms of autism that now come under the umbrella term of 'autistic spectrum disorder' don't necessarily have special in...

I can't imagine how American far right conservatives can still support this. Yeah, it does seem strange how American conservatives seem... pro Russia. 8O I agree, it is bizarre. As long as I can remember, all Americans have been anti-Russia. Yet they are anti-Ukraine now and actively trying to stop...

About Pootin and Kimmy. I'd like to know what China thinks of those two making deals. Will China join in? Or feel a bit threatened? Amazing to think that compared to Russia and North Korea, China is the sensible one in this situation! Apparently China, despite wanting to appear reasonable and matur...

So they are trying to get back old Soviet territories. They better not touch Croatia. I don't want to see game developer Croteam become a victim of this war. BTW, Pootin and Kimmy had a meeting recently. I think they're making weapons deals to help Russia's war effort. I can't imagine how American ...

A lot of autistic people are ostracised or made to feel or function as an outsider in various ways. Employment comes to mind and the various environments that exist within employment. Some autistic folk compensate for this by being extra nice and doing so to try to fit in. Alternatively, some autist...

Employers often seem delusional in terms of their requirements for candidates versus the pittance they often pay. I suppose up until recently, the jobs market favoured employers, though in my country with Brexit and labour shortage being increasingly an issue, the trend is reversing. It is harder th...

I was almost assaulted by two people in a coach station once, and the crisis was only averted by meeting my parents there unexpectedly & at the correct, precise time, which they couldn't of known as I didn't message them (my phone had died). So I lucked out.
