Don't know/care. . . . Erm, don't answer then? Seems the obvious solution . . . The person is sedated ahead of time. Has that happened to you or another family member? Are you afraid that it might happen? I do care and I'm willing to listen. Thankyou, CockneyRebel . . . it is partly somethin...

. . . someone was notified by police of the death of a loved one, and taken to see the body in hospital, but they then clung to the body and refused to let go and became hysterical when staff tried to take them away; would they be sedated and sectioned? If so, what would happen after that?

I don't understand what the attractions is with Batman in the first place. He is just a violent man dressed as a bat for no apparent reason. Well... personally whenever I find out that something is going to have a director, writer, actor, etc. that I don't like or I don't think is fit for it, I know...

'Husky' means having a croaky voice as far as I'm concerned.

And if I were fat, I'd have the same opinion as I do now about it, which is that weight probably doesn't need to be mentioned at all.

It's a combination of lots of things really, and none of them are a definite indication of having AS. I think that sort of thing is easier to spot in the context of other children - for instance, if the child is playing alone, or playing but not waiting their turn or considering the other children, ...

It's diminution, to make the cats seem "cute". Same with "teh" and countless other intentional misspellings. I agree with you though, it's extremely annoying. Aah . . . okay. To make them seem cute. I think perhaps that doesn't work on me because when I'm reading it I imagine what it would be like ...

I think what I mean to say, overall, is that writing 'sammich', especially in a context where one doesn't mean to sound sexist, seems inexplicable. People just seem to use it for the sake of changing the word as far as I can tell. The same goes for people writing 'teh' instead of 'the' - it doesn't ...

But it seems equally sexist to instruct said woman to get in the kitchen and make a sandwich . . . or anything else, for that matter.

But why call it a sammich to begin with?

Yes, that's what I don't understand about it.

I was really confused by someone using "natch" instead of "naturally" once. The people where I live use a lot of words like that, and while I understand those because I hear them so often, I think it makes them sound unintelligent. ! ! So that's what 'natch' means! I have heard that before too and ...

Yes - DLA does not relate to income. You can still have it even when you're working. If you qualify for DLA then you should be able to get ESA for the same reasons, and help finding a suitable job, and not just the first thing the Job Centre drone sees on her screen. Here's some information about it...

I would. And squeamish.

I'm not entirely sure either. I think I'm asking why everything is spelled deliberately incorrectly, and what it is meant to imply.

The name thing is quite interesting.

. . . people write a different version of a word that is almost the same, but not quite? For instance, I have seen people write 'sammich', which presumably means 'sandwich' . . . but what does it imply? It's not short for sandwich, because both words have two syllables, and if the original term - sa...

It sounds like you need to apply for ESA - this is the benefit on which you will be supported in your search for work, rather than forced into jobs you can't do. That's the idea, anyway.

Do you have a diagnosis?
