Lol, that's hilarious I can really identify with that espeacially in high school. Not to sound degrading but sometimes people remind me of herds. The picture says it all. |

I've had problems being honest with my friends about my condition. I think whether it's Asperger's or not, we all have what is called fair weathered friends which is my problem because I get easily insecure and don't want to deal with it. Then we have best friends or friends that we stay in contact ... |

I know from where I live there's way too much stimuli. We get glimpses of natural scenery here and there until contracters want to buy it off. I swear it just gets worse, nothing but noises of traffic and car accidents on a small road. I know some of the people I live around who have brought this up... |

Before I start, I know that alcoholism and Asperger's are not related. Alright, I have been clean and sober for over a year now and everyday I have to watch myself. I used to drink very heavily and went in and out of hospitals as a result. I used to always tell myself I'd never drink again and then ... |

Glad you brought that up because it's something I'm still trying to struggle with. This may be a sensative issue but I'm a recovery alcoholic and have been clean for over a year and a month. Only 2 years ago I was diagnosed with AS. I used to drink heavily before going to any Raves or social events.... |

[b]I've done it all the time espeacially in public areas. It went so far that another customer at the store asked if I was talking to them  I think for me it's a nervous tic, I'm not sure. Since that and other hoo-hahs, I've been taking steps to reduce it. I now bring an ipod with me whenever ... |

I relate to how you described Wal Mart . I try to getting there early. I can't stand the traffic jams of carts and people. Even the bright lights and large space, and loud sounds of the intercoms gives me a feeling that I've been sucked into the Wal Mart Vortex and there's no turning back. |

I have the same problem only it's more than one song on an album. I listen to them for hours and can't seem to get myself to stop. I've had this problem since childhood. |

It's good that you brought this up because I've always had problems with tremors. My hands wouldn't shake constantly but they would jerk. It was very embarassing. Eventually I started getting violent seizures on occasions after having been prescribed adoral which is a stimulant. I tried all kinds o... |

Glad to join. Just got diagnosed with Asperger's 2 years ago. Amazed that there's a website for this. Most people I've talked to never heard of the term. |
