@Chichikov: Oh wow, you made a joke about christian religion AND aspies. May the shitstorm begin... No really. I dont get why people get offended by jokes? Laugh a little and get on with your life. For me, having humor is one of the most effective ways to cope with the pain. Laughing at something ma...

Define "alternative lifestyle" ? Alternative = Differing from the mainstream. Valueing different things, having a different way of thinking & expressing differently. You could swap it out for excentric, but alternative is a loosely defined word on purpose here, as alternative people a...

Yes i have. Exactly the example you posted. 2 times. Beeing in my car with my friend, talking, crossing red lights at late afternoon/early night. One time at an intersection going straight through (more like a 20° left turn). I blamed the orange street lights, but in reality i just failed multitaski...

Yes, thats one side of it. I have another one: I notice lots of patterns in different things, patterns in communication from different people, patterns in behaviour. This is quite fun as long it has a good distance to me, sometimes as outsider i can predict what will happen in a given situation beca...

well i can spin my arm around 360° vertically. a wheel with a 45° angeled joint ending at the wheels outside shouldnt be impossible, but if you imagine the world without anything human-made, a wheel doesnt make any sense. To have good grip, they would need to be wide track (ever seen offroad tires?)...

No, it wouldnt. Wheels work well in our flattened and paved world. Wheels totally suck in most natural enviroments. They get stuck, they wear excessive, they limit you to only flat land (No trees, no bumpy enviroments, no swimming, if you flip you're probably dead. Wheels dont work well for nature, ...

These tests arent really useful. The reading mind in films one has 12.5 as average for male ASD & 12.8 for male NT. Thats 0.3 difference in diagnosed autistic/aspergers and your average NT dude with ASD people also beeing over 25% faster than the NT group. The only correlation with the film test...

No, because we're an oppressed group. Neurotypicals aren't. It's like how a lot of people (myself included) consider jokes at white people's expense to be fine, while jokes about other races aren't. Thats double standart. Either everyone gets to laugh, or nobody. My mum often said - (having) humor ...
