I like it, and watch it every Sunday, but my mother HATES it with a passion. I love to annoy her by going into a classic rant about it on occasion. |

This is just meant to be silly, based on an old topic from a few years ago . . .
Example: Dog-whistles would be banned, and super loud noises would be outlawed. |

I'll be direct: changing your behavior to fit into society, which as an example in my case involves making eye contact, learning to walk with my hands at my sides and other similar stuff; good or bad, and why? |

From your description, it seems you are talking about the label, not the actual atypical neurology? Yes, I mean the label. One cannot change how one is wired, and that will always remain the same. But if the label is removed, it is going to change how others see me, and even how I see myself. I was... |

No open flame, but I turned on the back burner on accident . . . with the giant bag of birdseed on top of it. Fortunately I caught my mistake before there was fire, but I grabbed the plastic bag . . . and birdseed fell out of the melted bottom onto the burner, which probably smothered any firey thou... |

I used to collect erasers. Big ones, little ones, broken ones, itty bitty ends of ones . . . I used to find them on the floor at school, and I liked to keep them in a piece of candy wrapper inside my desk. |

Every few years I am required to get re-evaluated for Aspergers/Autism. Waiting on the results right now, but it got me thinking: How would you feel if your diagnosis was removed. That you had come so far as to not classify as autistic anymore? Would you be proud because you'd done something few oth... |
