Mostly I watch men because the aspie women are just unbearable. I can't stand the bouncy, smiley, cutesy "look at me, isn't being an aspie cool and interesting!" But now I see men doing the fake overly expressive YouTube persona as well. Ha ha ha :) I know what you mean. I actually like m...

For example: Autscape has a Board of Directors, an Organising Committee, and several Sub-committees: http://www.autscape.org/ The European Council of Autist...

I correctly pointed out that you are giving people the impression there is one autistic community when infact you contradicted yourself saying that there are exclusion criteria against children, low-moderate functioning autistic people and their parents. But there is indeed one Autistic Community ....

Do you ever watch autistic YouTube channels? If so, which ones are your favourites? What do you like about them? Recently, I discovered Mind Your Autistic Brain with Social AUtie. Yesterday, she interviewed Mordi BenHamou, aka The Autistic Guitarist, who published an autobiographical book called &qu...

Great interview, Ken! Really enjoyed that. Well spoken. I'm glad you overcame the challenges of putting yourself out there, being on the receiving end of angry parents, but persevering and encouraging an accepting and positive perspective. I too remember those early days, back in 2006. I remember A...

I've never fully understood what "hero" means in this context. What I learned as a kid is that a hero is someone who literally saves someone else, like pulling someone out of a building that's on fire. Since I've never been very impressed with other people, however, I'm sure I've never ha...

Perhaps you could read a few autistic autobiographies, to get ideas about what to write about? For example, you could read some of these autobiographies: - Autism, Falafel and Rock & Roll.: A journey to an atypical world https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089ZZMMGM https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41...

Time was when I thoroughly admired John Lennon, but now, to me he's just a musician who wrote and recorded some music I really like, he had a lot of interesting ideas about people, art and politics, but he could also behave like a first-class jerk, so he lost his hero status with me. It no longer m...
